You should get hoplo victorum. It is so good. Amazingly solo game. I have victorum and cloudspire. I also have elder scrolls on the way. Super excited for that one.
I got 6 points with crossovers, just one shy for a new high score. My list: 1) Spirit Island 2) Bärenpark 3) The Quest for El Dorado 4) Rajas of the Ganges 5) Bunny Kingdom 6) Azul 7) Sagrada 8) Downforce 9) Gaia Project 10) Muse
My top 10 from 2017 ... in alphabetical order: Cat Lady Christmas Tree Codenames: Duet Flip Ships Legacy of Dragonholt Meeple Circus Pandemic Legacy Season 2 (not my favorite of them but still loved my plays/memories of playing) Purrrlock Holmes Sagrada Spirit Island
I loved TI4 the first 10 plays. It went downhill so far that I don’t ask for it anymore in my group. But we had tons of games preexpansion which were 2 hours for three players. But we had played the three of us for months every Thursday. When we added a fourth player we went to four hours. Because all the strategy cards were used every round. It is a completely different game. As soon as we tried 5 and 6 player it’s back to 10-12 hours. Just depending on someone getting a great pull. With the expansion it doubled the length for the 3 and 4 player games. I liked the new stuff but hated how long the game goes now.
I’ve played ti4 + PoK over 54 times in person. We play it every second weekend. We usually finish in 7-10 hours. We mostly play 6p to 10 points. Though we have tried playing 14 points - did that about 4-5x and honestly we would actually prefer it to 14 points (but it can go to 12 hours). A couple of people in our game group played 2x 14 point games back to back within 24 hours (no sleep) and with food delivered during a birthday getaway once. It took about 20 hours - no sleep . I didn’t do it but that was insane.
Loving this series, smart to lead us here via the Dice Tower, but you have become one of the few channels now that I actively follow
Thanks so much! I sincerely appreciate that! Thanks for being here!

You are preaching to the choir, bruddah! Such a great game, though! It’s a pity it’s so long.
