My 2013 Veloster top speed so far is 220km. Maybe one day I'll try again and see if it can do 240km/h.

i drive with a veloster mine goes to 210 no chip some times i drop a sport filter in because the sound in belgium i have reached on the highway in 6speed with manual transmission 210 with 140 horsepower and i will say its not a fast car to drive but a lovely car you can reach in 2gear 100km/h and 7000rpm some cars with benzine reach not so rpm's because its limitid if you have a turbo version of de veloster you can change the ecu from te car and you can reach 7200 rpm for me its a lovely car to drive i now my english its not good because i speack dutch in my country because with this if you have a lot of space you can reach to 220 or 225 i heard with 140 horsepower but i tink most of the people have not intrest from i say here

I had one of these; yes, it'd go a bit over 200km/h, but the sun roof would shake like it'd fall off.. Loved the car, but it was definitely not great for >160km/h.

I don't know where you live, but here in the U.S the most recent of Jetta's came with a 2.5L 5cyl motor that only made like 170hp. A friend of mine has that car and me and him raced and the cars are identical, but mine leaves him in the dust when it comes to handling. The newest 2015 jettas have a 1.8Turbo again.
