    Cool beans, I'm restoring a 73 Yamaha RD 350, The bike of my youth.
    It really brings back the smells and sounds of years gone by.
    I wish it cured arthritis.

    when you get a chance can you shoot some new pics of your combustion blower. Could not see the holes in the tube in vid. Am curious your spacing and what you did to get swirl.

    Pretty cool heater. I still have to truck my used oil to Manny Moe and Jack for disposal. Nice ammo box too. It's 78 in Fort Worth tonight. Yep

    Great job! PLEASE, tell me about the holes in the air fixture that sticks down into the burner area (the size and number of them). It appears like you have figured out almost exactly "the angle of the dangle" with regards to air/fuel mixture and what it takes to get the vortex w/blue flame. I want to build a waste oil heater for my shop, but I'd rather not be fooling around w/it for weeks trying get everything "spot on" like what you have. Many thanks, and again, great job! : )

    NC heater got job can you tell me about the fan on lower shelf where is flow going.Understand one on top.Is the lower one surrounding tank thru pipe. To circulate heated air?

    • @jagdpanther9RCplanesnstuff
      @jagdpanther9RCplanesnstuff  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi.the lower fan just blows air around the propane tank/burn chamber and out the other side.the cart with its sides sheeted off makes a kind of heat exchanger.the whole works gets hot and radiates heat but i can put together pieces of furnace ducting pipe and make it blow nice hot air clear on the other end of the shop or where ever i need it.

    Very very nice
    I have watched every video out there on waste oil heaters
    Most are junk
    Or over engineered.
    Portable
    Hook it up to ductwork.
    I like it alot

    Can you build me one

  • @A2J_Tim
    @A2J_Tim 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    that is a similar build to mine, I gather you were talking about me when you said you seen guys using a hair dryer, thats how I started with my oil burner build, Now im using a shop vac in an insulated box to keep the sound down. After years of use I am coming to the conclusion that the unit is to big for my shop as it puts out way to much heat for my space. I need to build a smaller one.
    here is my set up. th-cam.com/video/1tGXJkIPk34/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YK48DjcTrT17KzRO
