And also the camera position might influence the viewers view if that makes sense 😁😂 And also based on logic: She performed in that performance with like 20 "The Voice" contestants, and Taylor had only a few singing parts ( first few verses, sing along in the chorus and that high/long note and some final adlibs). So it simply would not make sense creating a playback-live-track with just a few lines and massive gaps for the contestants parts 😅

Rihanna is naturally a more gifted vocalist but Taylor improved tremendously over the year compared to Rihanna who actually got worse, Rihanna has better agility, and she has a vibrato and more power however Taylor got better belts and upper belts she’s more consistent live nowadays. Head Voice is point each I guess but rihanna has a lot more range

TAYLOR is a great singer, but she’s not an amazing singer. She is overall an incredible artist though. She’s really well rounded. Her vocals are really good, guitar playing neat and crisp, she also plays the piano, and her song writing and lyric skills are beautiful. Plus she’s just a really kind person. I’ll always be a swiftie.

This time I have to say, the clip choices were really fair! Earlier battles were sometimes really unfair cause some people who created them want their fav to do better, so it's a bit biased. But this time both had good clips: Fancams, professional HD clips and the notes were comparable
This video was VERY biased towards Taylor. People’s voices have different textures and tones, and everyone’s voice is different so it’s unfair to compare them when it comes to tone/style. They are completely different artists singing different genres, so this battle doesn’t really make sense anyway. Let’s watch clips of Taylor singing R&B, and then we can compare. I think she is a talented artist, but at the end of the day she was straining and flat/sharp in a lot of these clips and it was hypocritical for THVC to critique Rihanna without critiquing Taylor’s flaws too.
The “point each” thing bothers me. There were a lot of clips where Taylor was straining, flat, or very weak tonally compared to Rihanna, and she still got a point.
I'm not shocked with the outcome Rihanna has the capability...but she always comes off as lazy (vocally) to me Whilst Taylor...may not be the best vocalist out there...but she has really put in the work to develop her voice...and where she stands at currently is fairly good..

A person doesn't always needs to hit high notes to be a good singer. Her songs are not just for showing her vocal abilities but her emotions as she is a songwriter and a story teller.

Rihanna is just above mediocre at worst and good at best. Once again, in my opinion.
In all fairness, these clips are of atrocious sound quality.

TAYLOR is a great singer, but she’s not an amazing singer. She is overall an incredible artist though. She’s really well rounded. Her vocals are really good, guitar playing neat and crisp, she also plays the piano, and her song writing and lyric skills are beautiful. Plus she’s just a really kind person. I’ll always be a swiftie.

This video was VERY biased towards Taylor. People’s voices have different textures and tones, and everyone’s voice is different so it’s unfair to compare them when it comes to tone/style. They are completely different artists singing different genres, so this battle doesn’t really make sense anyway. Let’s watch clips of Taylor singing R&B, and then we can compare. I think she is a talented artist, but at the end of the day she was straining and flat/sharp in a lot of these clips and it was hypocritical for THVC to critique Rihanna without critiquing Taylor’s flaws too.
THVC was biased here towards Taylor. If Rih clearly won one of the battles, she was reluctant to give it so point each...

Rihanna is a better singer overally. She has unique and strong voice, while Taylor, a good songer as well though, lipsyncs and screams a lot of those high notes, and they are always identical.
Actually rihanna do the lipsyncing rather than taylor. Don't be absurd, but Riri has greater potential tho, she was more agile, more quality, and control of her voice. She's just not consistent where Taylor is more consistent. She might not be able to deliver great, agility or tone, but she clearly was more consistent with her belts.
