Their "God's Menu" video just passed 300 million. I'm super proud as a STAY. And I was so lucky to see them perform live in Dubai (actually i flew to Dubai, just to see them). Stray Kids are amazing, and self-produced. The whole Noeasy album is amazing. Cheese, Domino (the dance practice b/c there's no mv), and of course Red Lights would be good next ones.
So many things to recommend. Their Noeasy Album is just amazing. However, if you want to stick more to ones with videos I'd suggest the following to get a wide range of what they do: Gods Menu, Back Door, Easy, Miroh, Astronaut, Awkward Silence, Side Effects, Neverending Story, TA, Slump, Scars, The View, Hellavator, District 9, and Blueprint. By no means is that a complete list, in fact I left out a lot of my favs lol. But it's a wide spectrum of the amazingness that is the Stray Kids discography and a good start. They started as a 9 member group, Woojin left for personal reasons, and now they are OT8. They are a self-produced group and they write, produce, and compose pretty much everything. I think there are 3 songs they didn't produce but they did help write. The leader picked every member which is unheard of in the Kpop business.
I was not really into Kpop. But when I heard God's Menu of Stray Kids, I have been exploring Kpop since then. And Stray Kids members are all-rounders. You can't tell who is who. Everybody can sing, dance, rap, write and produce songs. Proud Stay here since 2019.

i always have the biggest stage mother smile when i see people listening to stray kids. and they're a really great match for you, blake. wish you could dive into some more of their stuff, even b-sides. they're a self-produced group, like over 90% of their discog is wholly theirs. for such a formulaic arena like kpop, that's something that's really rare. labels and entertainment companies typically have such a big say into their artists work. this allows stray kids to definitely have more room for musical exploration and experimentation, making them one of the most unique, distinguishable acts in korean pop..

Blake, I just watched Brit awards 2 days ago and there so many artists that aren't widely exposed here in US! Suddenly, this guy started singing and I sat straight up and said out loud to no one "Whoa,who the hell IS THAT?".His name is San Fender and the song is "17 Going Down".He won Brit for best alternative rock that night.He had a bangin band too.He is v well known in UK and deserves more recognition here.His voice and music is quite different.He has been compared to Springsteen for singing about working class life in Northern England but I think his music transcends that.Pls listen for yourself.

More Stray Kids definitely!! And if you love the darker stuff you have to check out Monsta X, I'd recommend Shoot Out, Alligator, or Rush Hour but you can't go wrong with any of their stuff. Very all over the place and with distinctive vocals. They were disrespected originally because their sound was so hard and different! Just paved the way for all these darker sounds now.

Hey kinda a fun recommendation here, Stray Kids participated in a competition show called Kingdom with groups: ATEEZ, IKON (same label as BLACKPINK), BTOB, THE BOYZ & SF9. So to kinda go a little more into detail, the performances they did was a new version of their own songs, other idols songs or mix between whatever songs the groups wanted to do. (With new I mean they re-produce them and mix them, ((idk not fluent in English yet)) so the songs sound totally different) One of the performances Stray Kids did blew me away, it was a mix of one of Stray Kids’s most popular songs called “God’s Menu” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU DU DDU DU” (because both songs have lyrics with “ddu du du” in the chorus) What’s even more impressive is that the groups have to make these performances in such a short amount of time, so you would assume they don’t have time to make and arrange these songs themselves right?? Well not for Stray Kids, they made it themselves EVERY TIME (like they do with all their music as a self-producing group). The performance has the concept of Deadpool and even RYAN REYNOLDS noticed them and chatted with them on Twitter because of the performance!! I would love for you to react to the performance, it’s on TH-cam “God’s Ddu du ddu du, Stray Kids”

I will say thought that I screamed a little bit when you looked away at the beginning to pour from the kettle bc you missed a really cool part where the animated intro shifts into real-life with Changbin. What’s even more impressive is that the groups have to make these performances in such a short amount of time, so you would assume they don’t have time to make and arrange these songs themselves right?? Well not for Stray Kids, they made it themselves EVERY TIME (like they do with all their music as a self-producing group).

Great reaction! It's always interesting to watch people as they discover Stray Kids, and hear what parts stood out to them. I will say thought that I screamed a little bit when you looked away at the beginning to pour from the kettle bc you missed a really cool part where the animated intro shifts into real-life with Changbin.
