So, Pentagon is a kpop group under Cube Entertainment. They debuted with 10 members but right now they're just 9:
•Hui: Leader, Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Producer. One of the best voices of kpop together with Jinho. He produces a lot of their songs and also has produces bangers like Wanna One's Energetic.

Actually, E’Dawn and Hyuna were “kicked out” of Cube for violating their contract/company policy, not for dating. If they had chosen to deny the rumors and continue to date in secret, they would have been fine. Cube’s contract has a stipulation that “all romantic relationships must be kept out of the media”, by confirming their relationship to the media, they violated their contract. From a purely business standpoint, it is common for employees who violate a contract or company policy to be terminated from that company.

PENTAGON is self made group, they're made their own song, choreography, concept etc. The leader Hui said he already have 1000 songs to choose for their last album(Dr.Bebe era). They're amazing group and people should stop sleeping on them

Yuto is japanese, so when usually start his raps he say “Yutoda”, it’s “Yuto Desu” in Japanese which mean “I’m Yuto” or “It’s Yuto”
In Korean, da marks the infinitive form of a verb like to go, to run, or to eat. I always thought of it as "to Yuto", as in it's time to Yuto. He's so talented he's a verb.
I thought Yutoda was a shortcut for "YUTO imniDA" ㅠㅡㅠ

He was in Pentagon but was kicked out of Cube Entertainment, along with Hyuna, because they came out with the news that they had been secretly dating for two+ years (without the company's permission). Now they are signed under Psy's entertainment company, P Nation. Dawn is definitely missed in Pentagon but the group is super talented and I'm happy for their success :)

They were a 10 member group consistent of Kino, Hui, Jinho, Hongseok, Yanan, Yeoone, Shinwon (
Yuto's name is actually pronounced as You-toe hope that helped lol😂.
Pentagon was actually a 10 member boy group, but one member 'E'dawn' left the group (Was kicked out), because him and Hyuna came out as Dating, and still are, and Yanan is promoting in china, and Cube being the shitty company they are wont let him come back to the group ( or I guess you can say, he isn't active in the group right know) right know, but is still part of the group. But us UNIVERSE (PENTAGON fandom name) is waiting for him😁😊😍☺🤗

they are still underrated tho they are so talented, they are 10 membered group before but after they released 'shine' on 2018 E'dawn left their company & group due to him dating Hyuna. Also they are 8 in some mvs like naughty boy & humph bc. Yanan is on hiatus due to health issue, but he still has lines on the song.

A few things, officially when they debuted there were 10 members. Ten sides equal Pentagon. Eight sides is an Octagon. The fandom name is Universe.
Members:
1. Hui: leader, producer, lryist, vocals for days
2. Jinho: oldest, shortest, and even more vocals for days. Currently enlisted in the military. Has a channel called Magazine Ho where he sings covers. Mostly of Western songs.
3. Hongseok: vocals and visuals
4. Shinwon: vocals
5. Yeo One: vocals
6. Yanan: vocals, chinese member, currently on a mental health hiatus.
7. Yuto: deep ass voice, rapper. Also Yuto is the Japanese member.
8. Kino: vocals
9. Wooseok: rapper, youngest, and besides Yanan, the tallest. Both standing at 6'2.
Last member, E'Dawn. He was the one in Shine that played the "piano" on the desk. E'Dawn is no longer with the group because it was he was dating a label mate. Who he is now engaged to Hyuna.

Ok I'm saying this already. U are gonna love Edawn but he isn't in the group anymore. Just because he was dating hyuna, both of them were forced to leave the company. Yeah shitty reason.
Yes almost every kpop reactor first impression was edawn same for me. Btw lilbuu edawn is the first one that does the piano thing in shine in the begginging and he is the first one to sing.
It's kind of logic people will be attracted to Dawn, as he was made the "highlight" of Shine. I like him, but it's sad in a way, because they then don't listen to Pentagon anymore, even if the members have so much more to offer. I started listening to them after Dawn left the group and I find them wonderful as they are now. It's a shame solo stan just let the group down after this event.
Please allow me to correct some of your misconceptions. Btw I'm a Universe since Shine era. (1)Dawn and HyunA left on their own (Cube reversed their decision to kick them out) (2)They weren't kicked out for "dating". HyunA confirmed the dating news after Cube told the media they weren't. So the trust between the parties was broken. (3)Altho Cube could've handled the situation better, they weren't really left with much choice since A LOT of the kfans were demanding he left. Memberships were cancelled and the whole group was receiving too much backlash. As a rookie group (they were barely a 2-yr old group that time), dating news could easily dissolve a small korean fandom. Don't get me wrong, I do not stand with Cube's decision and think they could've done better but it's about time we educate oursleves of what really happened. :) I still support Dawn and Pentagon remains my ult group.

Their vocalists are great and the rapline is too good in the albums they have songs from them that I assure you are going to love them
