Great video and breakdown! On the outdoor sensor, you mentioned it had corrosion inside. Do you think that's just environmental(salt)? Or the location, where maybe water ran down the rusty vent, since it's just under it? Or the water tight fitting where the cable enters?
@@subcoolHVAC Just a heads up, I run the sensor's(ACI) tech support. If you ever need direct help with ACI products. The PCB is conformally coated, but only so much you can do with the humid, salt air! I just happened to notice a couple things, so I wanted to mention it. I believe those sensors are installed at the factory anyways. I'll mention this to Addison's rep
They have really good tech support. I've worked on a few of them before. Pretty decent unit. Weren't they part of Trane or something like that. If i remember correctly
That HMI display is carrier's, I troubleshot a lot of carrier BAS and that's definitely it. I know carrier owns automated logic, so it could just be the same manufacturer of the controls. Same for the PLC and outdoor air sensor, all carrier controls.
Sweet
Thanks Jonnymac !
Good job
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice job Subcool
Thanks Steven!

Thanks for watching, it’s most likely the humid salt air

So far this one is doing well, still waiting for a condenser and motor for another… They bought and sold WeatherKing years ago

They are a bit pricey it seems, Thanks for the info 👍
