Hey HW...glad you recovered! I love all these areas you show around Sydney....so much to explore! And your downtown always looks so lively. What team is that hat?? Have a great weekend!
Thanks. Yep the punters were out that day. The cap is the San Jose Sharks from your land mass. I always try to support the Bay teams, no matter what the sport.
Hello from Naples, Florida. That was awesome! We enjoyed the sights, sounds and scenery. Thanks for sharing the amazing views with us, have a great weekend 👍 💯 ❤
hi HW, another great vid!! i'm sure you must remember The Basement jazz nightclub down there in Rieby Place. its now called Mary's Underground. Many memories from The Basement from the '80s & '90s. I saw George Benson in the crowd watching a jazz/rock gig there in the mid '90s. Your walks around our beautiful city conjure up some awesome memories. Thanks HW
I know the name. But never ventured in there myself. I’m glad the memories came back. That’s my number 1 goal for these vids. Let people retread their own steps for Sydney. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Glad your feeling better HW. That 1889 building missed the centenary by 1 year. You will see quite a few buildings with 1888 on them, particularly in the older suburban shopping areas. Must have been a bit of a rush to have your building completed for that year. Quite the building boom.
I may have spoken too soon. My nose has been running like a tap since then. Yeh they would have been scrambling for the centenary. Gee they knew how to build beautiful buildings in those days. Thanks for watching. 🙏
10 k good effort HW I walk between 6-8 everyday so keep it. Enjoyed the brief stop at Artarmon. Still a bit of the old there. Yea Vivid did it once but yea too crowded for me mate. Thanks for the vid HW stay well. 😊P
Hey Pat. Yeh got my run back up to 10k. Next will be to fit in at least a 14 to 15k once a week. Thinking I might do the City2Surf one more time. Done quite a few. But it’s been a long time since the last. Thanks for watching. 🙏
That’s cool. I guess there used to be a few more mixed businesses back in the day. Like I said in the vid. First time I’ve been there. Always stared into that Wilkes Ave when passing by train. Glad I finally took the time to walk through.
It’s not important but for your future commentaries walking past the mural it’s a male superb fairy wren on the mural rather than a finch. Thanks for the introduction to some laneways I have never gone down before so looking forward to future revelations.
Like 26 👍 💯 ❤

It is called Artarmon . I lived there . Used to shop in the Wilkes are ...hardly ever went over the line to the other side.

I've been down that lane before (Wynyard Lane). I will try to remember the fairy wren next time. But can't promise.
U Should come to Eastwood
