Everything is nicely played but not realistic at all - nice try! Every toxic substances are poured into the wild waters as well as grows hormons! Fishfarming has destroyed or at least devastated wild salmon populations! At the end fishfarmes make big profits for the companies while leaving a destroyed nature for the people! What a horrible story! And on top of all this huge bio mass has to come from somewhere and for that fleets of fishing vessels depleted open sea fish population to make pellets! Now tell me what all that is of our favor! And at the end we have toxic food to nurture ourselves! How stupid are we?

The quality of the final product relies heavily on the raw materials. What specific characteristics are you looking for?

25 minutes of them saying "fish farmers can selectively choose the right fish to breed for better characteristics."
Legendary innovations for these dudes
It is a complex and modern process.
I was the UV guy back in the day - from Porto-Mont Chile to Norway, back to BC and over to New Brunswick - I worked with the pioneers! Pretty sure we were one of the first with the up-welling incubators - I had some awesome customers, and I miss this exciting business.
They have all this tech to select for specific traits, but then select only for size and efficientcy. Whether it's salmon, cucumber or tomatoes. Commercially produced foods are never as good tasting. Salmon are bland and dyed red/orange, Cucumbers you can hardly taste, but are cheap, and tomatoes are pithy, but bright red and huge.
disgusting how salmon are raised for money and how the fjords in Norway are polluted. Farmed salmon is an environmental disaster.
Screw fishing using chemicals to grow eggs to skip true hard work and give more pain to salmons more than snag pain w (joke)
Deceptive video that combines clips of wild fish spawning in native streams and try to sell it as how the breed their farmed trash!
Man in hazmat suite spraying tanks with hazardous chemicals ... yep, that pretty much sums up the industry.
i love you

OMG sg
Community-driven initiatives, spearheaded by American farmers and enhanced by food industry machines, foster a collective effort to address the ecological challenges posed by wild boars. Right? What is your opinion?
Never tasted but it looks delicious
you should try but it's really expensive
18-20 % fattier than wild fish, full of antibiotics and colour dyes ... don't even feed it to your cat.
@@the_grand_tourer That's right, the quality of natural fish will be better than farmed fish in a short time
large scale fish farming
Raising them really takes a lot of effort
Dis f gusting!
People who say farmed salmon is bad for you. Want to destroy the wild populations 😂
What are you gibbering on about, you clearly have no idea what you are say, a simplistic knee jerk response, making you look foolish.
Less chemicals more taste and pureness kid
20% fattier than wild salmon, full of antibiotics, they ad colour to the un natural food or it's be grey, they do destroy wild populations as they get infested wit lice and they pass over and kill the wild fish, the chemicals they use and waste kill the sea bed ... I could go on with this list five fold. Just imagine the worst battery animal operations, pigs in cages, chickens not able to walk that sort of thing, then times it by 10. Chicken farms expect to dispose of 5% before the chics mature, salmon industry expect to dispose of 25% !!! Imagine raising animals and knowing you are killing them off as part of the process, and it has no affect on the profit !! It is bad for our morality, never mind physical health.
The farmers' hard work is truly inspiring.
Game is going on between farmers all around the globe hope that indian farmers comptete and give their best with quality and quantity
No for sand peoples
Farmed fish are worst
Why?
So Great
The way they care for and select their offspring is very meticulous.
Farmed fish is toxic.
How??
Who cares
Will eating them cause harm?
People who say farmed salmon is bad for you. Want to destroy the wild populations 😂
@@marshall2931 That's right, humans are increasing day by day. If they don't raise them and exploit them from nature, they will become extinct
