You heard my reaction at the beginning of the video. That's one of the best ones I have found, and I knew it immediately when I saw it laying there on the beach.
I gasped over those! The flow of nature inside those bands of chert- it’s truly spectacular. How neat that you have pinned down this hobby where you live by these rocks and have learned to bring out the beauty in them then to share it with all of us- it’s ultimate serendipity ☺️
I noticed that you watched a lot of my shorts. I have lots of longer videos similar to the ones you seem to like. Here's an example: th-cam.com/video/MVJ49H-3AbY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6q726hVixMycD3iO
In Germany we call stones with lines on it like the 2nd stone here "wish stones". The more lines they have, the more wishes you have if I remember correctly. People are even selling those on the internet under that name. You can find a lot of them in the Rhine and at the shores of Mecklenburg in Eastern Germany. I think you would love the coasts of Mecklenburg. The Eastern Sea has so many beautiful rocks and fossils. If you ever want to go there then go to the Northwest of Mecklenburg between the old GDR border right behind Lübeck and the old Hanseatic city of Wismar. The rocks, the beaches, the nature, everything is very beautiful there and very untouched compared to other places in Germany. Just go in Spring or Autumn. In Summer there are too many tourists there. But even then, you still have your peace going "rock/fossil hunting" 😊. I did it twice in the last 5 years and I loved it.
The natural patterns on this one just seem so... mindblowingly interesting. I'm not a rock hunter or whatever the title is, but seeing them is always so amazing and awesome. When i see them tidied and polished up, it's so hard to believe that they came from nature
That's what's fun about this hobby. I love getting out on the beach to look for rocks, then when I get home I get to play with them some more. I just love seeing the transformation.
@@MichiganRocks Exactly 💯 From far away, or mixed up, they might just seem like what they are...plain rocks, lol. But you use the blades and wheels and then you get to see what's inside. The beautiful patterns like the BC one with the lines and the other brown-ish dark one that looks like pattern of seashells, the crystals, it's always so fun to watch ❤️ So thanks to you and any other rock-hunter for sharing your treasures with us :)
Those rocks are so very beautiful and I thank you for showing the before and after pics. I have never heard of a "pudding stone", so I appreciate your video. Additionally, I have been a rock hound since the age of 7 and taking rocks from the banks of Lake Erie in upstate New York. Great job!
It's in my top three or four. Number four just went in the tumbler a few weeks ago, so I won't know if it make the top three or not. I suspect it will. It's pretty awesome.
The first one is wild looking! I could have sworn we have matching rocks for #2, but mine is a bit more green. I need to find it again. Awesome finds. I love the last one.
I’m 32 and I have a rock I found at my schools playground as a kid.. I still have it today. It looks just like those red rocks here and it has 2 white stripes that go around it.. what’s the best way to have it polished?
How big is it? If it's small, a rock tumbler is probably the way to go. If it's softer, a cab machine might be safer. If it's really big, then a hand held wet stone grinder would be the way to go. I have videos on all those methods. Tell me how big the rock is and I'll send you a link.
That banded chert is one of the most amazing pcs I've seen! Wow
That's a really, really good one.

Fabulous finish on the chert! So professional. Thanks again for the identification and fun narration.
You're welcome. I don't know how professional any of this is, but I'm having fun with it.

Sounds like a beautiful spot. Wish I was closer. Rocks with stripes are pretty easy to find around here.
Dang, Rob! That is one of the coolest pieces of banded chert I've ever seen! 🤩
Yep, it's right up there. Top three for me.
Huge collection of beautiful stones.... awesome ❤ I also want to collect these kind of stones ❤

That is your best one yet .... I wish I could send you all the 200s of pudding stones I've collected over the last 5 or 6 yrs
Gorgeous!
Hate to say it, but that bets a lot of agates, any day. I love me some chert and you did a beautiful job polishing it.
I agree. That beats almost every agate I have found, because most of mine are tiny or not all that impressive.
Gorgeous ❤❤❤
Very nice stones !
This one is so beautiful! 🎉
This guy has a wonderful channel! He does not disappoint!
Thanks!
That chert is stunning!!
Yes it is. I love that stuff.
That's beautiful
That first rock was unreal
Never would have guessed the chart could be so neat!!😮
Now you know!
Spectacular banded chert! I remember you finding that striped rock. It turned out great! The little pudding stone has insect eyes!
I didn't even remember finding that striped rock, but I sure remember finding that banded chert.
That is called The Sands of Time ❤️❤️❤️👍
holy smokes.... almost 3D that first rock.... very cool
Wow that’s the best banded chert I’ve ever seen. Love it

Magnificent!!!
When I tumble and polish berriacated Jasper and pudding stones the red dulls. Yours are gorgeous.
That's weird. With pudding stones, the jasper is the hardest part and always comes out the most shiny for me.
@@MichiganRocks ya I haven’t figured out why yet. Rock shed supplies. They come out beautiful but never as bright red. E
Those ellipses' in the banded chert were amazing!
Yeah, that one was awesome.
So gorgeous
Astounding!

That last one was really interesting. I have found other puddingstone lookalikes. The brecciated jasper in this one was really nice.
that is so amazing banded chert❤
Whaaaaat??? Looks like one of those crazy optical illusion paintings.
I found one like that but it had like an eye 👁!
I love eyes on rocks.
Looks like a desert sunrise 🌄
Those are really pretty finds, Rob! The banded chert polished looks like a sand dunes scene with the sun setting.
Kind of like a picture jasper, huh?
