That’s a sweet watch for the price and brand. I have 5 Tissot’s already. But when I saw this one priced now at only $269 I went for it quickly. I was looking for an automatic everyday watch with a whitish dial (all-around classic look) that I may bang around and abuse everyday. I contemplated buying the white Visodate, now priced at around $500. But this price on the Couturier I could no refuse. With day and date complications, a bracelet, a power reserve of 80 hours, and sapphire crystal, and a brand name like Tissot, I’m not sure that you can get anything cheaper and better for level of quality and performance I also ended up buying leather straps for this watch directly from Tissot, a black and a brown one. They have the watch even more versatile.
This is one that I have been eyeing myself, for quite some time now. The Hamilton "Jazzmaster" is another on my list. I have a 7.5" wrist, so though I generally prefer a tapering bracelet, I find that I can pull off many non-tapering models, without issue. Tissot is a rock-solid brand, that offers a lot of value for the price. Some of the best value models on the market, IMHO. The same can be said for Hamilton, as well. Grand Seiko is my favorite watchmaker, hands-down, w/ the SLGH005, "White Birch," being my favorite model, of all time, to date. Unfortunately, I simply will never be able to justify spending that kind of money, on a watch. In my search for a reasonably priced alternative, the "Couturier" landed on my radar. Ultimately, I wound up going w/ the RM001, by RMALTI. A newer Chinese micro-brand, who does a really well made for the price, "White Birch homage." Really could not be happier w/ the watch, but the "Couturier" is still on my list based on its own merits. One that may interest you would be the Citizen NB1050-59a. With its similar style of case finishing, dura-tech coating, and Miyota 9011 high-beat movement, it's definitely a very compelling package IMHO. Hope you find this helpful. Please keep up the great work. Cheers....
I had this in my cart quite awhile, when I saw the price drop I pulled the trigger. I see they have it for $228 right now which I see as a solid value. Thanks for watching !
Thanks for the video. I just ordered this watch from Amazon too. I paid like $275 but still a great deal. I paid $700 for my Seastar 1000. Awesome watch and I think worth the money which makes this watch a steal at less than $300.
You got an amazing deal on that one blue wow! Nice find looks sharp. Didn’t realize they take the movement to 216 to get it to 80 hr, I thinks I would prefer a high beat with less power reserve myself but what a find you got there and I love the white dial!😊
That was a steal. Great watch at THAT money. Mine achieved over 88 hours run time! Bracelet inelegant, poor Lume. Tremendous dial and movement. Can't go wrong, watch will probably outlive you.
I have the tissot automatic iii. It's a very similar set up to this, with the day and date function. BUT... I don't have the 80 power reserve. I also kind of want to try a silver dial watch for once instead of black. Feels dumb to swap mine and sell, just to buy something so similar haha. But i might have to. Great find. (mine was the same price when i bought, $235 on jomashop back in early 2020)
I have this watch...that steel bracelet was not easy to get off...i couldnt size it properly. I found a nice black strap that looks great...i learned to stear clear of butterfly clasps.
Not a fan of butterfly clasp either, but I honestly like the ones that come on tissot watches but I also have a big wrist at 7 3/4”. They are kinda wide and don’t taper which is why I like them and have luckily got a good fit with them but most of the time I do replace the band when it’s a butterfly clasp.
Yes it does. Once you passed the 12 o’clock for the next day, the day jumps quickly like a split of a second, it looks like there’s a spring in the mechanism to adjust the days and date .

this is the best deal on a tissot, thats why I grabbed mine.

The Hamilton Band is the only reason Id pay a little more for it but this Tissot is such a bargain.
@@RichieDavid83my Hamilton had the pin and collar band on it and I hate the pin and collar system.

This watch reminds me of my Hamilton jazzmaster a lot, and I really like the quality of tissot watches.

Thanks, I have lots of watches in my cart on Amazon and AliExpress that I keep and eye on 👁️ ! This was to good a deal to pass up on.
Happy New Dragon year 2024 must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
👍

Yeah it was a great deal which is why I bought it. I like the band on it, its big/thick but I have larger wrist than average.

I felt like this was to good a deal to pass up !

I have this watch. Solid watch!!!!
I’m very pleased with mine, I’m a big fan of the Powermatic 80 movement.
Love the black dial one.
I like that one to, these are a slamming deal for a watch with the powermatic80 movement !
Does it jump the date like in Hamilton Khaki Field King 2? Great video btw subbed
Not quite sure what you mean, I can tell you i like this watch.
Yes it does. Once you passed the 12 o’clock for the next day, the day jumps quickly like a split of a second, it looks like there’s a spring in the mechanism to adjust the days and date .
Great find, Dan 👏 👍 I need to check out their powermatic
This is a great deal for one, if you have the extra cash. This watch just fits me though.
The Powermatic is the best
Yes it is, I keep looking at tissot watches but at my core I’m cheap 😂 when I find a deal on one I do buy though. I really want a seastar.
my only gripe with the watch is the bacelet. wish it was 20mm and had micro adjustments
I have to admit I really like this bracelet but I have a big wrist so it fits me quite nicely and I’m not a fame of these butterfly clasp.
👍
Thanx for watching !
I just bought this watch online. Do you expect it will fit my 8 inch wrist? Thanks for including the length of the bracelet. Most reviewers don't
Mine is 7 3/4” and I removed no links, I tried removing a half link and the band was to tight, it will be close.
@@bluecollarwatches7048 Yikes! Thanks for the information.
