the other way misarable af, so you need to go as "oops wrong game"..
if you dont play super consistantly, just in occasional bursts every few weeks/months, it may cost less money to get premium every few weeks/months instead of a whole year.
@@evanwillett1635 yea, like if you know your going to play all day, buy 1 day premium for that day or if your playing a bunch in 1 week, buy a week of it
since they nerfed RP gain over the past 3 ish years and i unlocked a few tech trees, WT can suck it with their stupid reward system a great match could get u 20k+ rp back in the days. these days a super match is just enough to pay for the match and get u some RP to unlock your FPE.
They just make harder and harder on us eventually we will stop playing this if they continue to make it more of a living f#cking hell to play, itd too stressful to even try n have fun
@@MrSamuraiGhost they won't. We don't have an alternative game to play. War Thunder is the only vehicle combat simulator with complex damage models. You have the World of.... series but it's just not the same

I play bomber in simulator mode, atleast I can actually grind and not die to mouse aim players
A "goodish" match gives me 6k a "good" match 8k and a for me "almost insane" match around 10k and that is with premium and using a premium tank now and then 😂

I saw a dude on Reddit say “the tech tree isn’t the game, if you play to max the tech tree you’ll burn out quick. The game is vehicles and the tech tree is a side effect” which has made me play the game way more and just happier because I’m not grinding for top tier, I’m playing for fun and if I get enough to buy another vehicle I will but that’s not why I’m playing in the first place. Remember this is a game, games are fun, do what you like doing in this game and the sl & rp will add up
Same, once I started doing that and really getting into and enjoying each vehicle it was a lot more enjoyable
I can agree, I'm on top tier now, but I don't play that much anymore because I got burnt out, it's just too much that I wanted to quit, so I couldn't take anymore and took a break.
I know abaut the burning aut and extrem grind so wenn I starter two months ago I just played the game and dont ty to grind.
Biggest recommendation to ease the grind: play with somebody else. Easier to have fun and not get dragged down by bad moments.
Couldn't find a friend in wt if I tried.

Unlockable camos are my drive to forget the grind. In no time you will unlock them and the next problem will be SL because rank 3 and up vehicles will cost 6 digits in which you only earn 4-5 digits SL
10 minutes to tell you to buy premium, premium vehicles and do all modifications for each vehicle..... wow such good content
Fr. If you have nothing to say why say it? The only method is getting better and scoring more, and buying premium to accelerate that. He really just said nothing for 10 minutes, and I kind of respect that level of dedication.
a good friend of mine had a lot of fun with the grind and was also very good at War Thunder. In The End of the Day, he was banned because others reported him because he was good, which they couldn't believe. So be good will be punished in War Thunder
That's kinda low the fact gaijin banned him without any proof is sad on there end i feel his pain tbh

This has been said so many times before and i will say it again. If you want to get to top tier, dont get a premium (at least for your first nation) simply because playing all the different battle ratings will grant you so much experience and skill. I play a lot of air battles and i prefer atacking premiums because they are much less experienced and some are free kills.

In what game mode do you play air? RB or AB? I play almost only GRB and I’d like to have a plane with which I can CAS but idk in which mode should I grind them
@@realWWdude546 I only play air RB and i find it to be the best way to grind past roughly BR 2.0. At reserve tier most people play arcade, thus the queue time is like 5 minutes for RB so AB is the way to go in these BR's.
Also, dont grind for a bomber for CAS, get a fighter with bombs on it or a strike aircraft instead.

The only nation i have fun in low-tier is Italy. I don’t really like playing ww2 Germany but I love the Leopard 2a6 so I don’t have fun playing and just wait for the leopard…
You mean how you play WT. The game is literally The grind. That’s the only rewards you get, spending time playing= gaining RP/SL you can speed that up feeding the snail but the result is still the same. Nothing comes out of this game, shoot/die/rp/sl and repeat.

my problem is im trying to grind US tanks but i got to 5.3 and cant pen anything unless im on there side. but iv looked at weak points and shot them but still nothing
cupolas is the easy way to kill some of those tanks like the Panther D and the Tiger 1H
Early mid tier American tank stock shells are terrible
5.7 US is hell. Keep your eyes on the prize: 6.7 US has the T34 with its giant fuck off 120mm cannon and it's immensely satisfying to go from shooting BBs at the enemy to being able to easily pen pretty much everyone. Other decent vehicles too.
I always take a break after a bad day in WT...that's why I hardly ever play! 😆
got the game when f14 released. still haven't got to it yet. no where close to the f16 either. im not spending on premium so i guess its rough for me
I've just been simply playing the game, not focusing on grinding, and all of the sudden in at teir 4 planes without even realizing it. I did spend a dollar here and there to get premium but that's really not bad at all for a little boost

as a currently cery low tier player whenever i go after ai convoys or other ground targets i get double teamed every time and by the time i notice theres someone after me its too late

The grind is so insane it took me 170 hours just to get to jets in the USSR
Most people don’t even make it too jets in 3/400 hours of gameplay gg captain
@MorganLewis-z9v yeah I have complete the whole american tech tree and almost top tier in Russia in less than 600 hours
The US tank tech tree in the Rank 3 kinda sucks when you realise that getting a M3 bradley takes over 200-300+ hours to reach
as i have gotten higher in the tiers i have started grinding tanks to about 11000 so it doesn't take as long to get them all one after the other.
My issue is that I decided to play isreal and the sakeen is dog shit

Can I use a Tank to earn research points for planes? We're talking about realistic battles.
If u see this comment, here a tip to get jets more faster, grind sweden because they don’t have a lot of jets because it only takes 3 days, try not to give up, try ur best (I recommend train yourself to become a better player because it’s more harder the higher the br you are at)
i want to get to top tier jets like Mig 29 su27 f16 f15 so on but props are just pain in the ass i hate them. 12.7mm guns dont do shit i boom and zoom hit a target obv dont kill him and in worst case i dogfight and most of the time get killed or gain height and dive again for the same shit hit. love usa props ._. really pain as a f2p player. i takes ages to get top tier compare wot 1st wot prems are cheaper. grinding goes much faster like if you have prem account and booster wich go for an hour wich are ez to get and with the 5x 5x xp multiplikator you can get to T7 from 1 within a day max being 10 and then mostly 1 day for T8 2 days for T9 and 3 days to T10. and with 1 day i mean playingf 3-4h a day ITS EZY AND FAST. ye war thudner joined the chat. wanna get to top tier? no way around spending money
i am legit one of the worst war thunder player i am currently ranked 4 and i keep getting 4-5 deaths each game with 0-2 kills im legit gonna quit wt
Best way i usually unlock new tanks is to Play with low tier vehicles and stay in that br until i unlock the tank im trying to get and the best vehicle to use for earning RP would be the sd kfz 6/2 since u can just destroy any tank at its br tho thats just my method but the grind is still hard if u don't have boosters
I doubt anyone will see this comment but it it better to grind tanks in realistic without planes or grind planes first so you can have some ready?
Try to do both at the same time. Maybe take a day to do aircraft then play ground, but if you just play ground you will outpace your aircraft that can be put into the lineups.

When you unlock all of the modification on a vehicle it gets a spade icon on top of the vehicle in the tech tree and lineup.

6:17 you failed to mention the idiots that ground attack and bomb in fighters, by flying past the enemy fighters without even trying to engage them.
the ways I do it is I play till I'm having fun, when I'm not i go watch some wt or smth and comeback in 10-30 min. and the second big thing is you have to learn to enjoy the grind, as a person who has over 6k hours in ETS2, ATS and FS (19/22) I enjoy doing the same thing over and over
Got a question regarding the modification bonus XP, where does that XP go from a premium vehicle that already has all the modifications? Does that extra XP gets shared between the lineup?
Goes to the tech tree vehicle of same nation which ur unlocking. If the nation with premium vehicle has all vehicles unlocked then the extra rp u earn goes to waste.

One nice thing about being a former wow player is there is no video game grind that scares me lol

How do I equip modifications cause the rest of TH-cam don't know how
It should auto equip unless you turned that setting off on the tech tree page, but just hover over the modification and it should say "Install" or Uninstall if its already on the vehicle
@@DawgIVLife sorry I meant how do I equip rockets to planes cause. I see people who go on a page with some boxes and they add bombs and rockets onto it
@@MasterChubbsah ok depends on the plane its called custom loadouts some planes do not have access to that feature yet but to see if that plane does open the page where you normally select bombs/rockets and it should be a button on the bottom left side called create then you can make custom loadouts if the plane has it.
