@@LauraGomez-bl2so Laura! You are a terrible influence! And you are right I probably will 🤣 now that I have this message though - I will be screen shooting this message for my accountant 🤣🤣🤣
Im a relatively new subscriber and I loved this video! I learned so much watching you swatch because you were mixing colors. I went to art school 25 years ago and I swear they did not have a color mixing class. I remember my paintings had this green undertone to them because I just didn’t understand how to mix colors! It made sense that I was a ceramics major and was into grey and black tonal stuff. 😂 I’m really enjoying painting now and learning about color. So I really appreciate your video! AND I loved your work as well. ❤
Those little Amsterdam tubes are so cute!! So perfectly portable! I just got myself some System 3 paint and I LOVE IT!! oh, it's delish...I'll definitely be adding to my collection once my bank account recovers 🤣. I'm really enjoying mixing colours -- it's so meditative and fun. I really like the pieces you did...especially the one with the houses and the grassy bits -- so fab. I'm also looking forward to the patreon video about the thumbnails....xoxo
@@magpie_mel I am actually going to be working on the thumbnail video today for Patreon. You have a workshop teaser today so I will need your feedback magpie ♥️
Smart to build yourself a kit to suit you for the time being. It would make nuts to not have supplies at the ready. Well done, YOU🎉 FYI Opera Rose is literally my favorite paint of all time🫶because it’s obnoxiously hot pink! I’m obsessed with it and use it all the time and love it for underpainting😁 And the sketches you made are gorgeous. So yummmmmy🥰
Oooooooo im totally going to look that pink up! Thank you Debs ❤️ I am loving my little kit! The weather has been a bit up and down this summer so lacking on the out and about to be honest 🤪
Toodle-oo 😂 Bless your like this little walking inspirational enabler with a sprinkle of You got this🤩🎉. Why oh why did I not learn to drive, i know if i did id be running all over armed with supplies. Its so relaxing and my only option would be to go tag along with the hubby fishing at silly o'clock smelling like a wet carp ...erm 🤢😅. Ty ty for this little giggle and yummyness video your a buddy ⭐❤❤
Oh Tuppster! I find driving stressful sometimes so don’t feel too annoyed - there are ways round everything ♥️ as for tagging along with the fish cart - I recommend Vicks under the nose! Yes it’s from the movies but it does work 🤣 xx
@@lazyredhead Awww been stressed is never a good thing I'd be nervous ninny😅 there is way to much traffic on the road nowadays. I might have to purchase some and brave it🤣 Obviously take a huge flask and pray for a toilet...no weeshe for me🤭🤣 xx❤
Needed that , was having trouble getting going as it’s hot and I really disliked what I did yesterday 🥴when I saw you painting I got out my artgraf and a big paint brush and splashed around in my big A3 , I’m now looking at a very colourful background and feeling better 😂❤
@@lesleyhayes6942 I totally get that! I have seen the whether you are having down south Lesley! I could not suffer it. It is still pretty hot up north but over cast so that’s something. Oh I’m delighted you Artgraf had arrived!!!! I am excited to see what you create 🥳 ♥️
@@lazyredhead no I’m still using the ones I had ☺️ have you contacted the subscriber who can get them ? If she gets in touch with me I will send the money 😊
Love your art and video style ❤ really inspiring. I hadn’t seen any acrylic focused art on here because I avoided the medium for years due to the fossil fuels in it but saw liquitex new acrylics at cass art earlier that have more eco ingredients (though still some fossil fuel stuff) and thought I might try them out. Just have to evaporate the water I suppose. Would be exciting if one day all acrylics move to bio ingredients. No reviews of them yet I can see.
@@ohbli_oh I understand why you would avoid them. Although I did see the other day either on Cass art or Jackson’s that there is full range of eco acrylic. I can’t remember what brand it was maybe liqutex?!? Have a look - that might be a good alternative for you ♥️
Love the colors. Great work. I don't know how your surviving. I can have a supply sitting around for months without touching it, because well I am into something else at the time, but I would be going insane wanting to use the one item I don't have with me. lol.

I had to watch this in a 2 sitter as my companion on the first sitting tried eating you after a while ......rude This i think just shows that you can get some amazing results just from your back door. Granted your view is probably rare but you can focus in rather than out. Love it keep them coming ❤❤❤❤
I love the teeny Amsterdam tubes! I never realised how perfect they are for plein air. You should probably just buy all 73 colours... 👀

I wonder if the system 3 lid would fit on any of the others. So when one of the system 3 run out you could use that lid for a different paint? Maybe?
What a bloody fantastic idea! I might even see if I can buy separate somehow! Thank you so much for this idea 💡
