In the latest vlog, I head down to Florida for not one, but two client shoots! It was an incredibly hectic week, but it was a lot of fun, and I even got to catch up with some friends who live down there. I also managed to find a pretty solid opportunity on Upwork, and I'm looking forward to starting that job next month!

Out of all the trash jobs on Upwork, I have found one client that made it worth all the constant check ins. Admittedly, I haven’t checked it in a long time.

Well you never know what it may lead too. A lot of creatives commute. Plus Georgia is becoming a well know place for filmmaking.

On a serious note, it’s so nice that you try to make the clients feel more comfortable on camera. I would never know you lack confidence talking to the camera btw, you’re a natural! 😉 Keep the vlogs coming!!!
The vlogs have definitely helped my confidence 😅 but the travel hasn’t helped my diet so I think I’m gonna need some tough love!
Interesting, always thought upwork was kinda scammy with low ball offers but making the connection with them directly was probably the best decision you could have made, the fact that they are gonna give you for multiple months is crazy could be an awesome long-term partnership and portfolio building experience.
Upwork has definitely been more negative than positive experiences for me. Lots of lowball offers, but this one sounded promising, and thankfully it lucked out! I'll get to start working with them very soon!
I have not used Upwork in years, I have been curious whether it was worth using or not. Good vlog!
I’ve had minimal success on there - a lot more ghosting/underpaid gigs than quality leads. Still, this one seems like a good long-term partnership!

When I have trouble uploading photos for work to the program on my computer or manually moving from card to computer. it can be due to 1 of 2 reasons. Wifi connection (if too slow I'll connect to my phones hotspot) or too much used memory. Each job I shoot can have anywhere from 100 to 1000+ pictures that automatically save to the computer, so it adds up quick. In which case we have to delete anything that's been sitting longer than 6 months to give the computer better performance
Makes sense. This was definitely a connection issue - all the videos were on my iPad already, but I don’t think the hotel WiFi could handle the transfer speed lol. And my phone hotspot is sometimes worse 😅
