When I first put on the new Fast Trak, and Renegade tires by Specialized I knew I had slowed down from the last generation tires, until I wore the little bumps off the tires, it was like a completely different, way better then the last generation tire in every way.. I'm now running T5, T7, S-Works tires, and can't imagine anything else going on my bike, these tires are amazing,,, Happy Trails..

I use the Bontrager XR2 because they came with my Procaliber 9.7. The tires are exactly what I wanted from an XC tire. They are fast rolling with enough grip in dry conditions. For rough terain I use my Remedy wirh a different Setup.

I've been running Continental Trail king for few years now. Heavy tyre, fast rolling on high pressure. Grippy when the pressure are low but still roll pretty well. Tried running at 50 psi and it simply roll so fast without effort. Few others tyre in mind to try out but somehow I'm still undecided lol!! Vittoria seems pretty gd as well. Maxxis seems over rated. One of my friend is running maxxis and he told me he doesn't like the feel and the side wall seems plastic. Michelin and Goodyear had come out with MTB tyre as well, I've seen it and feel it and honestly, I dunno, don't seem so strong at it for them, probably only for cars 😂 what's the best 2.2 have you guys ever tried? Like I mean in all round? High and low pressure, rolling resistance? Doesn't matter about weight though.

Are the racing rays too bad as a front tire? I dont ride agressivly, just some trails and mainly gravel roads

With the advent of "down country" bikes it would be great if you could give your tire recomendations

Varies widely depending on the trails, speeds and conditions. Around 18psi front and 25psi rear is a good starting point though

No Vittoria? The Mezcals and Barzos are very good.
