What you are saying is true… Lately I often call on the ascended masters for help and support, and especially him (although I didn’t feel very connected to his teachings when he was alive). But I feel him now, and I feel very connected to him now.❤

Sometimes it’s hard to find that inner smile, when life is in turmoil. And then it appears again as if to, say hello my friend.
Last night I was speaking to my mother and father within myself and for the first time it wasn’t just a notion of them being present in me, but I could literally feel there specific energies within me, and when I called it by it’s true name it revealed itself to me as if being born for the first time
Thanks to Thay and all the spiritual ancestors and teachers
And fellow humans and creatures and minerals alike
Seeing interbeing doesn’t have to be an abstract concept “out there” but it can be a resource we can tap into
And I seem to tap into these insights after suffering tremendously…. It’s like the sun shining through the clouds on a stormy day
That moment of reprieve is wondrous and makes me want to be alive!

When I was in real depression, I found mindfulness helped. I could to some extent be in the awareness of depression and not completely identified with it. But it was essential for me not to attempt to enjoy anything in the external world. It would only make the pain worse. Better to put all the focus on my own inner awareness - and outer, but not to try to see God in anything. Only in the awareness itself. TNH says we can’t be aware of awareness and strictly speaking he’s right. The eye cannot see itself. But I could remain in the awareness of consciousness- and notice the how I was aware of everything inner and outer with a detached but focused attention. After the depression was over, I could again at moments see God in things.

Our daily spiritual bread 🍞 69
When I am dwelling in dependence on a village or town, in the morning I dress, take my bowl and enter that village or town for alms. After the meal, when I have returned from the alms round, I enter a grove. I collect some grass or leaves that I find there into a pile and then sit down. Or sometime I sit on root of a tree or on trunk of an uprooted tree.
Having folded my legs and straightened my body, I establish mindfulness in front of me. Then, secluded from sensual pleasures, secluded from unwholesome states, I dwell peaceful and mindful, while clearly comprehending and concentrated.
Then I dwell pervading one quarter with a mind imbued with loving-kindness, likewise the second quarter, the third quarter, and the fourth quarter. Thus above, below, across, and everywhere, and to all as to myself, I dwell pervading the entire world with a mind imbued with loving-kindness, happiness, vast, exalted, measureless, without enmity, without ill will.
I dwell pervading one quarter with a mind imbued with compassion, with a mind imbued with altruistic joy, with a mind imbued with equanimity, likewise the second quarter, the third quarter, and the fourth quarter.
Thus above, below, across, and everywhere, and to all as to myself, I dwell pervading the entire world with a mind imbued with equanimity, vast, exalted, measureless, without enmity, without ill will.
Then I understand thus: "I have abandoned greed, cut it off at the root, made it like a palm stump, obliterated it so that it is no more subject to future arising. I have abandoned hatred, cut it off at the root, made it like a palm stump, obliterated it so that it is no more subject to future arising. I have abandoned delusion, cut it off at the root, made it like a palm stump, obliterated it so that it is no more subject to future arising."🙏🕊💮
This is called Baptism by 🔥 Fire. Christ offers those who will forsake all else and choose Him♥️🔥✝️.

@@JNeil1975 Christ is a title, just as Buddha is a title. The title represents the exact some principle, the buddha or Christ within. Whether Jesus or Siddhartha Gautama were real people is irrelevant.

Jika kita tetap terperangkap dalam pandangan bahwa Tuhan mesti adalah sesuatu objek eksternal yang menciptakan seluruh objek yang ada di seluruh alam semesta, maka Buddhisme menyimpulkan tidak ada Tuhan seperti itu. Jika saya berikan perumpamaan bahwa seluruh alam semesta dan isinya adalah bagian internal atau organ tubuh Tuhan, maka sebenarnya tidak ada ciptaan Tuhan karena kita adalah bagian dari Tuhan, begitu juga seluruh alam semesta juga adalah "organ tubuh" Tuhan. Can you see God in a discarded piece of trash on the side of the road?
In everything 🙏🤍 Thay said "Remember, Mother taught us to love the withered grass on tombs even so, the blooming roses." That is from "Here Are My Hands" from "Call Me by My True Names". It is one of my favorite reminders. Dear Thay, what a profound gift he still is to the world. I miss him so & at the same time feel calm & happy with a deep gratitude listening to him or just remembering him while visiting with nature these past few days, taking time breathing & arriving with the plants & flowers at our local conservatory, and looking in the eyes of the dear turtles that live so happily there and even a mouse came out & looked at me when I called it back out chanting om nam myho renge kyo, lol, I was so astonished that it really came back out & looked at me when I did that, this little mouse, it was so holy and strange but it was was okay. I was visiting and thinking of my ancestors who so loved nature & saw God the way Thay describes though they weren't Buddhists but, of kindred hearts. They used to take us there & I take my daughter there. It was a way to feel connected to the formal ceremonies in Thay's honor, as well. I've loved his teachings & poetry since I was about my daughter's age, almost 35 years now. His calmness & insight is a great, enduring touchstone. Truly, a cloud never dies (though it may weep a bit 🥲) 🤍🙏☁️☮️☁️
