Lost? 3 sets of keyless entry fobs to my 2012 camry ,now the dealer quoted me $489.43 to go through the whole car ,where signals transmit to and from, and this is all happening right after my car was towed from my driveway of ten yrs. That cost me $ 2,100 ,only to have it towed from tow lot ,or where it was ,i nexer coul get any info as to where it supposedly had beentaken to? Because the keyless entry fob isnt presenting itself,yet the tow truck driver made it a point to let me know that there is a slot next to the shifter ,that he said he put the manuel key into ,so that he could put the car in nuetral as to not damaging my car ! "Aint that a dilly" ? Sincerely , "NOT SURE WHAT TO DO" ? Almost done ! 9:06 ? unlawfullyparked

My 2020 dodge charger was recently stolen I got it back with no key fob I had 2 Locksmith’s come out and try to programmed a new key and was not successful what maybe the issue
This year car has a RF Hub, not a skim module. Did they hook up to the right module? Also are you subscribed to the channel?
@@OnlineMechanicTips I just subscribed to your channel. I have no clue what kind of scan tool locksmith used to programmed the key in my charger locksmith’s tech guy said that my dodge charger is lock but when I call the dealership they said there’s no lock on the car
@@superdarrenn It depends on what the crooks did to the RF Hub. Thats what control the starting on this car. If they got in it and changed some things, you could very well be locked out. At that point you may need to simply get a new RF Hub with a key to start over. Thats dealer type work tho,

@@OnlineMechanicTipshey quick question I brought a brand new RF-Hub for my 2016 dodge hellcat & got my locksmith to program one key to it, it started the car for a few secs & than shut off with a blanking red like on cluster do these dodge cars new two keys to pass the theft mode ? Cuz my RF hub is only stating one key is programmed to the car & I know dodge sell these cars with 2 keys for safety reasons in case one get lost so do I need two keys at least programmed to make it work ?

Whoa, yes, using a dealer scan tool on 2021 models. Keys can be programmed and erased. Will the key fob start the car? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

My truck came from the factory with no keyless entry programmed into it, I went to get keyless entry made at a locksmith and he told me this. Any suggestions??

I have this same issue...I had someone try to program a new fob to it and he said it wouldn't work...he said it needs to be a chipped key? I'd love to have a

Hey bud, in most cases you have to visit a nice Dodge Dealer and hope they have nice people in the parts department to get it. What kind of car is it? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

@@keslerblair7557 Ask for your car Security PIN code. They likely will ask you for a forms of ID and a title or registation to show proof of ownership (at lease my dealer does) Good luck

@@OnlineMechanicTips Do a vid, showing how we can updates and when, cost etc... I doubt any car has all the current patches... I have a 2005 durango for example... has it been patched? Who knows. I only have outstanding airbag recalls.
