The lighthouses. On the Arizona side of the river are East coast replica lighthouses, on the California side are West coast lighthouses and on the island are Great Lakes lighthouses.
I love that spot. I’ve stayed a couple of nights there. Yes know it’s not allowed, out of sight out of mind. 👍😎✌️
It’s unreal how big it’s become. There was nothing much there in the early 90s. It was just beginning. There was like a Walgreens and some little small store. Was hardly anything there. my friends mother bought a home on top of the hill up from the lake. It was a brand new home now it’s old. lol crazy how it’s grown.

My dad bought property there in the late sixties. Sold it in the seventies. He said “ that place will never amount to anything “. Oh well, he was right about everything else.😊
I have a friend that bought some land in the south side of the city in the nineties built a three bedroom house for 85 thousand. Now it's worth 500 thousand👍

I just went back to see Russ's London Bridge Christmas light show... Beautiful. (I didn't know Russ back then!) London Bridge Christmas Light Show - Lake Havasu Arizona
I used to pick up loads at Sterlite in Havasu. It was always a fuss, because they did not want you to idle the truck in 120 degree heat, and that aint happenning.
We will be at Buckskin in November. Looking forward to our time there.

Soon most of the island will be developed. The amount of construction is amazing in 5 years. I wouldn't be surprised if the population is 100 thousand. It seems every empty lot has a house or duplex going up.
