    Loving the gallery singing Happy Birthday to Paul. :D As a Finn, it's so cool to have him on these European events, showing my countrymen and other younger players how it's done.

      Also I believe these European courses seem to be tough. It's never all about distance.

    Thats cool paul won a major here. Yeah 2015 Paul was UNTOUCHABLE! His worst finish that year was 3rd!!! This coverage is so much better than central coasts of the Kansas city wide open this weekend. All connor and nathan did was complain about a bunch of holes on the course. Im liking this media company a lot

    Paul is still a threat to win any tournament he enters. But over the past year and a half, I've seen him make more mistakes in a single round than the Paul of a few years ago would make in an entire month.

      Age is undefeated. Image how much energy he spends on his foundation as well. He's become bigger than just a dominant player. He's an ambassador.

    • @discgolfnerd98
      @discgolfnerd98 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. At least in these last two opens, he's been scrambling a lot, especially with a lot of these longer shots just not hitting their lines. He's still deadly with his mid range and putting though. I have to imagine it's a lot to manage with his foundation, staying on top of his game and everything else. It speaks to his skill and commitment about how competitive he still is.

    • @derpderpin1568
      @derpderpin1568 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Also travelling more and keeping a busier schedule than he ever has in his career with all of the non-competing stuff he's doing in disc golf. The competition has exploded in recent years. Disc Golf is literally multiple times bigger than it was in 2015.

    Interesting to see how bad even pros can be at needing to throw a very specific shot. So many missed lines. Placement golf is more challenging than big distance golf. I’d love to see all the Americans play this course. I think Ricky would win, great angle control and a scramble master. I definitely think as bad as Paul played, he’d only be middle of the pack against US field on this course

    Ah.. I didn't even realize the USDGC was still happening! Cool!
    Quick research showing it behind paywalls now. COOL!
    Channels like this and JP... Central coast, Disc golf guy.. etc.. are the reason we have so much high quality disc golf for viewing now. It's kind of shameful to see so many events behind pay walls. I understand 100% it's not cheap to film and everyone needs to make money, but yikes on the organizer's part. I didn't even know it was still an event until I heard Nate mention it!

    The European tour is so inferior. For Paul to play so beneath his standard and win so easily just proves my point. Besides Vaino and Nikkola the European tour is a bunch of bangers without the finesse of the top American players.

      Noone cares, our courses are way better to watch and play. The sport werent even remotely popular until the last few years. Given time, Europe will catch up and likely pass america in quality of players.
      Also, Tattar destroying the entire american FPO field and making your 5x WC "goat" look mediocre is pretty embarrassing

      @@ludvig7473 I have deep respect for the European players and the courses are at least as good as American courses. The level of play right now from Europe's best is generally below America's best. Fact. You might well be right about the future however.
