Please Afia we will like you guys to throw that question directly to the door of the Governor, interview him and let him tell us by himself why that is the case.
Your station can book an appointment with the governor or his works commissioner to get their perspective. It is unconscionable that they would abandon such investments for this long
It's unfair to say that the present administration in Imo State abandoned all the projects that the Rochas Okorocha administration could not complete during its tenure. The administration has taken up and completed many of such abandoned projects. Examples include; 1. The dualisation of the Owerri - Orlu Expressway which has now been completed with streetlights provided on the road from Owerri to Orlu a distance of over 45km 2. Owerri - Okigwe road which has again been completed with streetlights from Owerri to Okigwe a distance of over 50km 3. Orlu - Akokwa Ideato - Uga expressway. This is presently on- going 4. The International Conference Centre . The Rochas administration did a shoddy work on this structure which resulted in its collapse. The Uzodimma administration has taken it up and started a completely new international conference centre which is now over 90 percent completed. 5. Akachi road 6.Sam Mbakwe road etc The truth of the matter is that the Rochas administration left behind too many uncompleted projects. This administration has taken up the completion of many of them as highlighted here as well as doing it's own projects. Anybody therefore saying that the administration abandoned all the projects that were not completed by the Rochas administration is not being fair. Regarding the car park (that's what it is actually), I am fairly certain that Uzodimma administration will ultimately complete it. It is in the heart of Owerri. And will help in decongesting the traffick along Douglas Road.
