Cheers bruh! They should be fine. You got me considering getting some adjustable Whiteline sway bars. It drifts fine but I do want some more tuning for the front end.
Been waiting for this thanks! Recently purchased the same ones but not installed yet. seem like an upgrade from the original Maxpeedingrods that everyone seems to complain about.
Thanks for the review, mate. Getting these for my 2003 ride. I've heard enough good comments about them if you're on a budget but want something street able as well.
ive been driving on maXpeedingRods for some months now (the gold/yellowish painted ones). I have the dampers set on the softest setting. It's a different ride than the OEM struts/shocks. I find the ride to be a little stiff still. One of the rear dampers arrived to me leaking. Right before I was about to email them about the issue, they emailed me first! Asking if there's any issue. Told them and they sent out a replacement damper. When I went to install the front coilovers, i found out that the hole the top bolt goes into was too small. I notified them, and gave them the dimensions of the hole size. They had their fabricator or whoever make a two new metal pieces with the bigger hole, however it took weeks before it was finally done .
Hi mate, I've been wanting to get these for my 2000 e46 323i sedan but Maxspeedingrods keep telling me they dont have coilovers for 323i sedan, is that a mistake?
I bought my maxspeedingrods for my e46, and they are the biggest pos in the world. Since installing them, I've had a constant knock and other suspension issues
yeah but how did you install them correctly? did you tighten everything before install? set correct pre-load? if you don't, you will have these issues especially the top nut comes loose on most coil overs.
Surprised ya remember me mention the camber arm bushes being shit, fyi they aren't OEM bush size as I would have pressed in the poly bushes I got in the set but they are maybe like 2mm to big to fit in the hole, if you can find an alternative poly bush that's probably the cheapest option 👌✌️
Go to the QR Calendar. Skid Control, Drift Nation and Frydays all have drifting for beginners, some with tuition. You can't go to QR Drift events like (Friday Night Drifts) unless you get drift licence which you can obtain from some of the above events. Its a bit annoying but that's what they want to go drifting on the main track now www.qldraceways.com.au/calendar#/calendar
Wow that soft hard drop test actually worked out really well! Nice review.
Good review! The best Maxpeeding coilovers I have ever see… they have improved a lot
Thank you Amadiurs
Bert, make this videos more constant. Great content! Can't wait for the next one.
Thanks you. 🙏 I drop videos monthly. In the future I may have more frequent videos.
Love how thorough your review is! They seem to do the job pretty well all things considered, just hopefully that leaking doesn't cause problems soon!

@@BertusBuilds they’ll definitely help, they make the car weight transfer alot more predictable!

Considering you droft and beat on these and they haven't broke is impressive

did you buy the old model or the newer one shown in this video?
I'm having a crazy bounce non stop in the back. Any ideas why
Ive Heard bad things about these coilovers. That they are break often and ten to leak. How it is nowdays?

Yea I remember 😊 Thanks for the feedback mrmalavey. I think I might go to a Heim joint for the rear lowers.
Now that archie is no more, what are the best options for people in the brisbane area for beginner drifting?
