But is it right for a mentally disabled parent to have a child? How will they take care and raise that child!

@@DX-d if a healthy child is born to mentally disabled person or even underaged person, it can only be raised by grandparents or adopted. Unfortunately, what other support you want to give them??

This way of thinking is dangerous and perpetuates discrimination and inequality. It is important to recognize that every individual has value and potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. Sterilization laws like the one that existed in Sweden only serve to oppress and control certain groups of people, and it is crucial that we learn from history to ensure that such injustices are not repeated. We must strive for a more inclusive and compassionate society where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

This historical context sheds light on the problematic and discriminatory nature of sterilization laws and policies. It reflects a disturbing belief in eugenics and the idea of a "good race" versus a "bad race". It also highlights how marginalized and vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, were targeted and violated through forced sterilization.
The echoes of these discriminatory attitudes can still be seen in society today, particularly in the way marginalized groups are often perceived and treated. The example of Muslim immigrants facing barriers to education, employment, and economic success reflects a similar mindset of devaluing certain groups based on stereotypes and prejudices.
It is important to recognize and challenge these harmful beliefs and practices, and to work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society that values and respects the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals, regardless of their background or identity.

My sister is legally retarded but she has seven kids. Four are healthy and able to go to normal school. Don’t underestimate abilities of others

That’s wrong. Children need sane parents to be raised normally.

Four are healthy. Out of seven! That means three are not healthy and able to attend school normally. If you would have added that part, your comment suddenly would not sound so positive.

Why are you mentioning cases that happened 80 years ago! How are they relevant today! Or were you out of current cases?
