    I got myself the Tooli-Art paint pens last year before VBS (Vacation Bible School)--I'm in charge of crafts, and one of them was painting on rocks, so after VBS they were all mine =P

      That’s awesome!! What do you think of them? I really like the colour range on them. I haven’t used them for a little while but want to get them out again and make a nice muted picture ☺️

    Hi! Thanks for the video, very informative. I'm wondering, how is the longevity of the tooli-art pens? I'm thinking about getting them but worried they will dry out and wont last very long. Any insight would be very helpful. I keep finding review videos of people trying the pens for the first time, but there isn't much information out there on how long they last. Thanks!!

      Hi! Thank you for your comment! So they have been the best of the cheaper brands however some of them are more dried out than others. I still gravitate to my posca pens unfortunately. I would however be keen to try the thicker nibbed tooli as I think they may be as good as posca. Tooli are definitely a great alternative if you have a smaller budget but not quite as long lasting as posca. Hope this helps! ☺️

    I ordered this set after watching this, I love Posca but I like more muted colors and most paint marker makers seem very reluctant to make those kinds. Although only the thick nib set was available to me, so it's goiing to be very interesting to see how they hold up against other felt tip paint markers. Thanks for the great video!

      Ooh I am very interested to know what you think of the thick nib?? The muted colours are really lovely in this set. Thank you, so pleased you enjoyed it 😊

      @@TheCassieProjects The thick nibs are the same size as 5M which was a bit surprising as the barrels are the size of a 3M. They seem a bit firmer but that could just be because they're new. They flow really well, distributes the paint evenly, seems to work the same as Poscas on similar surfaces. I bought the pastel set too and they are also gorgeous colors.
      As you said, time will tell how well they will hold up but as is I'd definitely recommend them as an alternative to Posca. Only downside for me is that they and nibs only come in sets.

    Thank you so much for your video! I have one question for you - do they dry matte or is there a bit of a shine to them? Thanks again!

    • @TheCassieProjects
      @TheCassieProjects  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Aw thank you, my pleasure. They do have a slight shine to them, compared to arrtx which has a much more matte finish. 🙃

      I haven’t! I still need to get them but I can’t justify buying even more acrylic paint markers 😂😂

    I love how the Poscas work and how the finished painting looks, I'm not such a big fan of their (limited) colour palette though. I miss the skin tones and browns and more muted greens. Tooli-art seems to be the answer. (They have 230 colours! Posca has 55 including metal, glitter and neon.) Due to your video, I have just ordered the skin and earth tone set. So thank you for your tip and for your review! And I very much appreciate that you don't just base your assessment on swatches but actually painted with the pens!
    I had tried a different brand which has other colours and is much cheaper, but they weren't even half as good as the Poscas and I don't use them, the result (watery, streaky, not as opaque) is too disappointing.

      Thank you for your comment and I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video! The colour pallets is really lovely with the tooli! I am still really keen on trying their wider nibs.
      Thanks for watching! 😀
