Hi Drew. He only gets paid for videos he produces. If he doesn't vlog he doesn't get paid. Anyone who knows him as a friend (i.e. not just the vlogger) knows he'd be the last person on Earth to take advantage of anyone. And everyone takes time off from work once in awhile.

I am now almost 18 and he no longer has his jeep but I have a jku rubicon and love it to death me and my friends are constantly adventuring and camping, and it is cool to see someone else doing a similar thing. I love what you do and appreciate how visual you are with your own life many people can't stay happy for the course of one day and struggling with depression I can see that first hand. But watching your videos always lifts me up and always inspires me to hop in the jeep and just relax. Thank you for being my friend even if you don't know really who I am. Greetings from another YJ owner! Mine is a 1995, actually one of the last YJs to roll off the line. I did a complete frame off rebuild of mine starting about two years ago. It's not a restoration, as I beefed it up quite a bit. I'm hoping to get my channel going in a few weeks with some tips on YJs and some outdoor cooking. Anyway, moving on to your brake proportioning valve. I'm just going to take a guess here but I think you got part number PV6070FD. I did, the first time I ordered one. While it will work with the adapter mentioned, the part you really need is PV8796J. It's a perfect fit and my brakes have never worked better.

I've been watching the vlogs since April and I'm old enough to know life throws you curves. I've been recovering from back fusion and haven't been able to walk well for a year. Anyone with half a brain would know that of all people you want to get back on the road as soon as you can. Whatever decisions you are making need to be best for you and no one else. Obviously getting Jade safe, reliable and ready for the long haul is the right frame of mind. - Stay positive and keep your goal in sight!

Mornin' Jake! Kinda weird timing all this. I made the leap, now I'm stopped for a month looking after my aunts house while she's overseas. From constantly moving every day seeing new places and things, to being in one place feels strange now. It does let you sort a few things out, and think a few things through. It's probably difficult to not let some of the comments get to you. You know the drill anyway: it's your life, live it the way you want! Happy to see Jade getting some love (and safe and roadworthy). Hey man make sure you tune that antenna with an SWR meter before you use it a ton. If you don't sometimes it can blow your radio. Almost any truck stop has the tuners.

Don't worry about everyone getting upset cause your not on the road I have been watching the vids since you left for your road trip and I've seen certain things you've had to deal with mechanical and cosmetically, it takes time to do those thing but when your back on the open road there won't be issues so look forward to future vids.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a naysayer, only because Joe seems like he's throwing parts at Jade. In my life I use my friends and family to help make decisions, or give advice when something doesn't seem right. That's what we are, your friends and family. Honestly, if you stopped the Vlog completely, I would be upset, but I would be more upset if I watched you get screwed over and didn't say anything. It seems like the worst is behind you, just be keen and realize if it looks like he doesn't know what he's doing....he probably doesn't. Hey Jake for the squeel your having, try tightening up the adjuster pully had that issue with my TJ and XJ AND my Suburban. main issue was my tension pully. hope this make sense good look Jake
Yep. He has already replaced the idler pulley. I would get a gatorback (now continental) and tighten it BANJO tight.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a naysayer, only because Joe seems like he's throwing parts at Jade. In my life I use my friends and family to help make decisions, or give advice when something doesn't seem right. That's what we are, your friends and family. Honestly, if you stopped the Vlog completely, I would be upset, but I would be more upset if I watched you get screwed over and didn't say anything. It seems like the worst is behind you, just be keen and realize if it looks like he doesn't know what he's doing....he probably doesn't. Not to say hes a bad mechanic, we all have our strong and weak skills.
