- Here is our 3 month review and tutorial of the pj trailers rollster bumper pull.
One of the cons i didn't go over would be the taillights.
When a dumpster is loaded the rollers block the taillights from being visible.
Does your combination require a CDL?
Nice set up, I have a gooseneck Texas pride roll off trailer, check out some of my videos, I normally leave the truck in neutral or reverse when loading
How is the PJ holding up? I am currently in the market for bumper pull roll off trailer with at least 4 bins. I would appreciate the feed back.
How much does it cost you?
I started out trying to use boards too. It's a waste of time. Drop the wheels on the ground and pull forward. Its more important to have a board under the front to keep water running out the back of dumpster and keep it from sinking in the mud. It will also freeze into the mud in the winter!
Empty dumpsters are easy to manipulate. With 5,000lbs in the dumpster non of this will work with the boards anyway unless it's a gravel driveway or its paved.
TERRORoftheLORD same here I only use boards in the front when dropping on grass or dirt.
The pj dumpsters are lower in the front and have drain holes
How much do the landfills where you dump it usually charge? Do they charge per load
How's the tilt angle? My bin rollers touches the ground before it can reach full tilt not allowing the load to slide off.
Pull forward and everything will slide out.
How many loads/unloads/dumps are you getting with a fully charged battery? Do you have any issues with it keeping up throughout the day? Thanks!
We have a 1 gage negative and positive plug in so they stay charged.
Have you ever experienced any problems with the wireless remote and the receiver that plugs into the winch not sending signals to each other?

Justin Brewer I leave my truck in reverse when loading up dumpsters so the winch does not take all the work. I have a warn 15 series winch on my texas pride trailer

jay c it can if you’re not on flat ground but just for precaution I put wheel chocks in front of the trailer wheel and one in the back of the dumpster where the rollwe is so it can’t go nowhere

I work for a company we use hooks hook and drop no boards unless the customer asks for boards but we don’t even have to get out of the truck the moment the rollers hit the ground we just pull the truck forward rollers stay in place and we do it the same way as we pick it up we back into it as it’s going on the trailer and we go forward with our foot on the break controlling momentum dumpsterDon’t move at all

Hey Caleb, thanks for sharing. I do construction in The Tampa Bay Area, Florida. Thinking on adding this to my services only for light duty trash no concrete materials. What adventages do you see using a bumper pull vs. gooseneck?
No advantage
The truck we use to pull it with has a liftgate and 6ft tall walls on it
I got the same trailer but my way better my has a gas engine and keyless start
Till the dumpster off in 16' to 20' 2x12 with rubber wheel chocks at the ends,
8:20 you've had it for how long and your cable is fucked ?
This turns me off from getting a roll off. Whats the advantage versus a fixed dump trailer?
