I fell away from Christ several years ago, but I used to absolutely love Rebecca and her music growing up. I am now a believer again! So a few months ago I saw for king and country and it was AMAZING. I just can’t believe I didn’t realize Rebecca st James and for king and country were siblings until today when I stumbled upon an Instagram post which brought me here. Wow, I don't recognize Rebecca. She was one of the great 90s singers who disappeared in the early 2000s along with Margaret Becker, Carolyn Arends, Kathy Troccoli, Tammy Trent, Crystal Lewis, Christine Dente, Cindy Morgan, Susan Ashton, Jaci Velasquez. Oh how I miss 90s Christian radio.
Ugg no the 90s and 80s christian music was awful it was so wrong. Like a bunch of christians trying to hard to copy the words sound and it was cheesy and awfyl. Very few original sounds and etc... now Christian artsit have worldy artist copying them and etc...

I can't even begin to explain how this song has blessed me. I've been ill for a couple of months now, and lately it seems like there is no end in sight. Lots of setbacks. But I truly believe that the Lord gave me this song to show me he is here. He is listening and healing, despite my trust issues, pain and weakness. The moment I heard the first couple of lines, I literally broke down in tears. The lyrics of pain and exhaustion are literally words I've cried out time and time again. Crying out for healing, or just trying to hold onto hope for breakthrough. But more than that, the joy of the line, "You are faithful and You bring the dawn" just brings me such peace, and I remember that this current circumstance is not my new reality, nor my end. I constantly need to be reminded of that truth. Thank you. 💕💕

Beautiful song. I remember in the early 2000s, I had a phone interview with Rebecca St. James ahead of a concert in the area. She has always been an artist to give thoughtful reflection to her songs and otherwise. I remember her asking if she could pray with me on the phone. I've interviewed many Christian artists and other performers. I believe it was the first time someone specifically asked if they could pray with me and for me. It was something I do not hear many artists actually do in a phone interview specifically. Caring, great singer and great new music.

A heavenly family-bubble of talented & beautiful people amidst a wildly mad and harsh world, this is beautiful and who wouldn't love it. Yet many of us have nothing of it, not by any stretch of the imagination. Still, the Smallbone family gives us at least something to dream of, the idea that some day, somewhere, somehow, a wonderful place like this, full of happiness, peace of mind, and love, could be waiting for each of us.

What a beautiful song 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Saw Rebecca in concert at a youth convention. She has a heart for the Lord. She truly wants people to see Christ through her music. She sat on the end of the stage and spoke to the young ppl. She is still beautiful. My son thought she was the most gorgeous lady his eyes had ever seen. So blessed he had someone like Rebecca to look up to instead of some of the liberal musicians. So glad she is back and I had no Idea King and Country was her brothers. SO LOVE hearing and seeing Rebecca again and it’s amazing that she’s able to sing with her brothers. Love them too. For King and Country. Wish we could bring them in for the Festival of Praise by the Mississippi River at LeClaire Park in downtown DAVENPORT Iowa along the River front bandshell. That would be a dream come true.
