That was Dame Elizabeth Taylor! She told it like it was. She never held back. She was a one-of-a-kind woman in a Hollywood run by men. She did so much good for people she didn't even know. May God rest her soul.
She has dealt with some very tough men and strong personalities, especially back in the 50's where women were treated like sex objects and nothing more, I'm pretty sure Elizabeth Taylor is as savage and real as it comes.

Coming from someone else the comment might seem fake, coming from Elizabeth Taylor the comment is VERY genuine because she was in eternal pain with her back, had congestive heart disease and still after being confined to a wheelchair she would not miss fundraisers or events to help the aids cause.
Come on, she was so drugged up she couldn't walk. No pain there at all. The only pain there was how painful it was to be around her.

My dear great grandmother relied on Meals on Wheels for years while she suffered from dementia. Brava to Liz for telling off that reporter, she put more good into this world than any of those awful paparazzi could ever dream of.

Elizabeth Taylor was a genuine caring and compassionate person. Reporters thought it was for publicity but she got very involved in AIDS care. It was NOT for photo ops but she founded AMFAR which made a huge difference in getting funding for AIDS research and the development of treatment and meds. Thanks to her many people are still alive and healthy.
She said she would spend the rest of life supporting people with AIDs. She did. Even when she was dying.
