I cannot thank you enough, I took a course and am getting ready to take my certification test and wish I would have found your videos sooner and I will continue to use them as I learn more!
Before deciding to pursue an education in coding, I started watching some of your videos because I wanted a better idea of what coding actually is. Now, part of my coding class curriculum is watching your chapter guideline videos each week.
Thank you so much for this series. I've been away from my studies for several weeks and couldn't find my footing. I decided to read the guidelines and have taken a pledge to read these at least once a week. This is such an awesome read-along.
These videos are very helpful, just wish you’d slow down and take the time to read it thoroughly so we can think about it and understand it better instead of rushing through. But again, love the videos and very informational and helpful when reviewing for CPC exam.
I understand that my speaking pace might not be suitable for everyone. Fortunately, TH-cam has some great features that can help you customize your viewing experience! You can easily adjust the playback speed of the video to slow it down by clicking on the gear icon (settings) in the lower right corner of the video player. There, you'll find the "Playback Speed" option, where you can select a slower speed that suits your preference. Additionally, don't forget you can pause the video at any time if you need a moment to catch up with the information. I hope this helps you enjoy the content at a pace that works for you.
Do you know of a forum where we can ask questions about the guidelines. Some seem to lack explanation for clarity and I need to get answers. I need a free forum.
Do you have videos on diseases of the eye. I’m struggling to understand the EM codes when they ask for a CPT E/ M, or ICD One case I just did I failed it. I’m in medical coding semester 2. COPD. I don’t know if you’ve seen a case study on Daniel Smith. The problem is I took a semester off, so I’ve forgotten everything I learned lol.
Thanks so much for helping to clarify the ICD-10 guidelines. I do have a question though on sequelae. If a patient has a sequelae of a burn what would be the correct sequencing of the codes. Would you code first the burn with 7th character s then the external cause code for the fire/corrosion? Thanks.
Your title is " Medical Coding Guidelines Explained ." There is no explanation and you are reading as if you are in a marathon. Could you please slow down. You should check out AMCI they are one of the best when it comes to online teaching.
You have made my understanding of medical coding so much simpler....saying Thank You is an understatement! I so appreciate you
