@@flatoutsuspension264 how are the road heading characteristics. I did Mann 1"springs with stock shocks and I have no droop now in the front now which I'm not a fan of. Otherwise I like the firmness
front and rear bumper delete nice. how big of a lift is that? running on what size tires and wheels? is the bumper now steel or aluminum? custom job or bought from shop? what brand tires are those? what kinda suspension? so many questions haha
I can answer some...2.5" lift, dunno about his tires, not sure on bumper material, they are RRW bumpers. Suspension is our GR40 : flatoutsuspension.net/products/crosstrek-gr40
Not too expensive, from stock they’re pretty good off-roaders. They’re about the same price as any other new sedan. You won’t find any other capable off-roader SUV for this price. Also the AWD system is miles ahead of other companies and even some 4x4 suv/ trucks. If the new Broncos aren’t what I expect I will be modifying the shit out of my cross trek. Turbo or supercharges lifted the whole shebang
He has 1.5” subframe spacers. Are you referring to our FAQ where we answer peoples question of the ability to use our lift plus strut spacers where we say you can? That’s not a recommendation, rather confirming you can double up. Wow, indeed.
Does the rear subframe need to be lowered with spacers in it after instillation? I have a completely stock 16 crosstrek and im wondering if i need to buy anything else besides the coilovers
If you go higher than 2", yes. 2" and under, no...but spacers definitely help keep geometry in check. An extra $249 to have it all correct is a worthy investment.
@00gothetonix It's reported to be just as comfortable as OEM at full soft due to linear valving. Low speed valving has been bumped up, so it is better in the corners. The only thing they fight against is higher center of gravity and physics, but they have instilled a lot of confidence in the corners. As said in the other comment, it is stiffer...however in the right area of the valving curve. It is meant to be a fast offroad set-up, so the shock is set up to handle washboards at speed.
neat. so, better mpg without bumpers? who know installing new coil-overs could be so dramatic. can your electropate withstand salt for those of us in snowbelt states? ....something southern California doesn't see; ever.
Love the build! I am curious what sort of static wheel geometry a vehicle like this uses. Also how does geometry change dynamically for a vehicle with this kind of suspension travel? Would extreme droop/compression scenarios cause geometry wonkiness? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
@flatout suspension How does the gr40 do on the outback 2015 2.5i unfortunately cvt. Found some long travel 10" front and 12" rear but I love these just want some feedback
They do very very well! They really shine going fast over rough surfaces. As one customer said “Cadillac smooth.” The 15-19 Outback is one of our top 3 applications for our GR series.
The stock suspension on the STI is garbage. I'd consider upgrading to this suspension. I like something that would work well on every day driving and some offroading. It's going to have to wait a year or two however. I've got a 2015 sti.
Wow, production quality was really good. Never enjoyed a Subaru suspension install so much.
Fantastic footage and editing! The new suspension looks like it made that Crosstrek a lot more fun!
It does!

Coilovers so much more convenient to swap than rebuilding strut assemblies. Great Job
Well done, killer build. Spotted: "Little Devil Brand Clothing" sticker, nice!
You need a Primitive Mid armor and rear diff plate on that now! Love that build though.
I live the crosstrek so much
Oh my that trail looks like a damn blast. Excellent shots
Extremely well made slowmo shots man and what a beautiful Subaru you have, congrats!💪
Thank you!
Beyond sick! Definitely the right parts for the task at hand. 💪
youtube recommended this and I love the execution of this. gg

Will love to see Subaru at the Dakar!
Those RRW bumpers tho 🔥
This is SOOOOO happening to my Ascent as soon as the rear adjustable control arms in development are released!!!

Thanks, I now I have to sell my eibach’s I just installed to buy these.
This is such a nice build I love the full rally trim on it and the rims is there anymore mods your gonna do to it ?
Does it work on the newer 2018 and up platform?
We do have an application for the 18 up GT chassis
Wish I had one of those car I love them

Sick!!!! I’m starting to mod my 2019 Crosstrek.
Can this be used in conjunction with a LP aventure lift kit on and Outback?
Yes it can, it will bolt onto our top mounts.
You have a short garage, and sweet dune buggy! AWDsome build
Dudeeeee. That subie tho!!!
Great job man...looks sweet!
No sub frame spacers?
And you recommend the use of strut spacers on the economy kit.
Wow.
He has 1.5” subframe spacers.

who makes those offroad bumpers? also would be great to see more footage of the suspension getting a workout
RRW
Hell yes dude... fucking made for it.
This is awesome!

Hows the on road ride quality, notice much difference in body sway on corners? Loving the build thanks for sharing!
I think it is now stiffer

@war dogs gaming In a fast-offroad sense, but it's not like going from OEM to a typical coilover. The GR40 shock is purpose built.
I feel like to take it to another level you'd fully gut the car, reinforce the unibody/roll cage and flat 6 swap
so sick!
This is well done
nice video and audio
Thank you so much 😀
Such a nice video !
Thank you!!
good video. this is soft setup?
Yes, I think 225/175 springs F/R
Great video.
Thanks!
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
Cool video! I’ll have check you guys out to see what you have for my 02 and 2011 WRXs
Lots of options!
Just installed b6 bilstein with king springs now i want these. Thanks! 😂😂
Can these be run at stock height? I really don't want to torture my CV axle, but I would love them othetwise.
Yep, you can run at stock height!
Can you put these on an Impreza?
We have an Impreza specific listing for them!
flatoutsuspension.net/products/impreza-gr
Trying to find out more details on this sub is it turbo’d? Where did you get that hood, 6mt trans.... Asking for a friend
Message @subuggy_xv on Instagram, it’s his car.
Nice rims 😎
Where is this
neat. so, better mpg without bumpers? who know installing new coil-overs could be so dramatic. can your electropate withstand salt for those of us in snowbelt states? ....something southern California doesn't see; ever.
The electroplating is specifically for our fellow northeasterners! ;) It's done exactly for corrosion resistance!
Has anyone figured out how to permanently disable traction control
Unplug the fuse

This car uses Rallitek subframe spacers to put things back in check.
What front and rear bumper are those?
LOLOK, i'm sold.
What mods have been made to the engine
Minor bolt on stuff. K&N, Nameless axleback.
Hi, how much for the price? Thank you
The GR40 (shown in the video) is $2800. Our basic lift suspension, the GR Lite is $1630. Both have a $150 discount at checkout right now.

What kind of front bumper?!
RRW if I remember correctly
Nice!!
This looks like it was filmed just outside hemet
I want to see a video of the BRZ coils!
Follow @liftedbrz on Instagram!
good stuff .. those suspensions must be really costly
$2800...couple bucks. flatoutsuspension.net/products/crosstrek-gr40
Beautiful
I dig!
Where can I find parts for a 2021 crosstrek?
Right here: flatoutsuspension.net/search?q=crosstrek

So a Xtrek can get suspension upgrades, spring and struts, but a 2016 3.6L Outback can't.... all I can find is spacer blocks

GR Lite: flatoutsuspension.net/products/outback-grl
Awesome, but just a bit too rich for my blood.
Nice
I kinda like it
Need more videos
Working on it!
Nice
