Not sure what you mean about 3” springs. Our Bronco sport lift setup uses 12” springs.

No sub frame spacers? And you recommend the use of strut spacers on the economy kit. Wow.
He has 1.5” subframe spacers. Are you referring to our FAQ where we answer peoples question of the ability to use our lift plus strut spacers where we say you can? That’s not a recommendation, rather confirming you can double up. Wow, indeed.

How is the ride quality? Smoother and more comfortable than stock?
Generally people report smoother. I think the WRX is very firm, so it’s pretty easy to do better with soft rates and more travel. flatoutsuspension.net/pages/reviews

is it possible to get OEM ride height on the gr lights or no?
Yes, we just need to add helper springs to allow the ride height to drop more. That’s something we can note on your order if that’s your plan.
I'm looking to do a lighter version of this. The GRLites look good, skid plates, roof rack and light bar. I don't think I would get a winch, I'm not going keeping, and I would probably use the Wildpeak AT Trail instead. So similar build but not as heavy, better gas mileage. The suspension seems key though for performance and feel as I will occasionally tow and load it down, and I like the suspension adjustable height as opposed to spacers.
Would love to find a front bumper/bar combo with no winch and improved approach angle. Nothing too big and heavy though.
I feel like to take it to another level you'd fully gut the car, reinforce the unibody/roll cage and flat 6 swap

Yep, BRZ and FRS are interchangeable
What front and rear bumper are those?
How does these differ from the Ironman 4x4 all terrain suspension kit?
Vastly different. Ours is height adjustable, shock damping can be adjusted, and we have access to spring rates from 50lbs to 1500lbs. Theirs is a spring and shock combo vs our coilover. Completely different suspension set up. We can build infinitely different setups from one to another vs “this is it.”

I see on your website that it says 3" lift, I have a 2018 sti and I just want a mild 1"-1.5" lift, can I adjust these to just be in that range?
Yep! You can dial in the ride height you want from around stock height to about 3” higher. 1-1.5” is perfect for yours. I had my 11 WRX at +1” for rallycross and it felt like the perfect height.

In the video you stated the price as 1480 but now they are 1795, is there any particular reason for this?
That was during the launch sale and there have been some improvements/ upgrades since…and material costs going up everywhere.
I'd like to see how the separate compression and rebound adjustment knobs work.
@flatout suspension How does the gr40 do on the outback 2015 2.5i unfortunately cvt. Found some long travel 10" front and 12" rear but I love these just want some feedback
They do very very well! They really shine going fast over rough surfaces. As one customer said “Cadillac smooth.” The 15-19 Outback is one of our top 3 applications for our GR series.
Very cool! I thought it was more like opening and closing small ports for a tuned flow, but a spring loaded valve adjustment makes total sense too.

We can make non adjustable shocks for you. But why do you not want them to be adjustable?

Just received the GR Lites for my 2018 Outback a little over a week ago and will be ready to install them once the subframe spacers arrive. I notice there have been a few revisions to the design since this video was made. The lower front shock mounts now have additional welded bracing and are beefier. The bracket for the front swaybar link is no longer welded to the lower mount, but is now attached to a threaded adjustable collar that can move up or down the shock body and then be locked into place for optimum swaybar position. Very cool!
We constantly evolve the product based on customer feedback. We don't do like everyone else that has an "it is what it is attitude", if we can make them even better - we're going to do it. That sort of progress is why we're able to forecast that we'll sell the 500th GR Lite in the next few weeks.
