    Spotties are so much fun when targeted 8:44 with artificial baits. Very fun. They hit like a ton of bricks, pull hard and dont stop fighting. My personal best is 18". No idea on the weight as i dint have a scale. I seen a fishing buddy catch a 21" spottie. Float tubing in newport was so much fun.

    I'm about to set out on Mobility Scooter adventures in Mobile Alabama, places I can ride my scooter to, local fishing spots, places of interest, the amazing Architecture this 300+ year old city has! Fishing spots where Alligators have taken stray dogs, my scooter only runs 22 mph I hope it will out run the gators (LOL) I'm a 71 year old 15 year Cancer and 2 time heart attack survivor! And I'm out to have fun after being stuck in a 4mph wheelchair for 3 years, now that I can go 22 mph I'm going to go the whole 36 miles this scooter will go everyday(lmao) My health has held me down but now I'm going to get her done buddy! Great Channel keep it up!!!!

    Loved that halibut trip. Grandson gets his Trident pin in a week er so. He was asking about what he could fish for out there. He swam across that bay at night with a rebreather and a glow-compass.

    Wow a Kayak with a live well! Nice kayak and great fishing trip! As I have grown older I put a heck of alot more fish back. Its not all about the cooler full of fish. Its all about sustaining the fishery. Releasing all the females for sure.

      @MakeTimeForFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know, Glenn really has quite the setup! Completely agree on putting them back, I love to keep fish but I don't see a point in filling up the freezer. I much prefer fresh fish anyway and it helps the populations of fish! Thanks for watching!

    Way to go catching those halibuts. Down here in Southern California halibut daily limit is actually 5, not 3 as Sand Dog says. I'm also from San Diego. Fishing in the San Diego Bay is very fun with multiple species of fish that you can catch. Those spotted bay bass are awesome gamefish and are very aggressive. Pound for pound the spotties fight really hard for their size. Found out about your channel from watching San Dog's channel. Fish on!

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the info! Those spotties were super fun, would love to go and target them on artificial some day.

    • @kisdasenglothnam
      @kisdasenglothnam 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MakeTimeForFishing You're welcome. I love using swimbaits for them cause you can feel the bite. In San Diego, in my opinion, we have the best spotted bay bass fishing around. I have friends from all over and they mostly agree with that. It's been a few years since I've made videos and need to restart that. I got sick a few years back and didn't fish for a while. I also have to upgrade from my GoPro Hero 2 cameras. I've been focusing on offshore fishing and need to change it up to some inshore fishing and target halibuts. My friends have been catching some nice ones in the bays in San Diego. I see their many posts and pictures. I have got to go fishing again in Florida. My friend lives in Vero Beach and we only fished out of Fort Pierce for a couple of hours back in 2011 for some black sea bass, I think, cause it was way too hot and humid. Will have to hit the waters in Jacksonville, North Carolina where my sister lives too. I've been busy with work and haven't fished in a few weeks. I need to get out. Let me know if you're in town again. We are always looking for people to join us fishing out there on my boat. Fish on!

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kisdasenglothnam right on! Sorry to hear that but hope you're doing better now. I use to have a Hero 3 and man have the cameras improved. Resolution wise and also stability, makes the video turn out really well. I'll let you know if I'm ever back in the area and we can see if we can get out together. Thanks for watching man and goodluck to you on the water!

    I really enjoyed this so much ~ “fish giggles” yep I can relate
    I have never seen fresh bait collection like the one you showed at the start of this video and I thought it was unreal ❤️ we have to cast our net to catch live bail 😂 😂
    I’m not going to enter the giveaway but good luck to all those who entered ~ good morning from The Whitsundays, Queensland , Australia 🇦🇺 👋
    This was fun Christen

      That was a first for me too, I always cast a net for our live baits on the east coast. Thank you very much I'm glad you enjoyed it!

      @@MakeTimeForFishing how awesome would it be to be able to roll up and have live salt bait dumped into your holder on the East Coast? Have never seen that before

      Right? And San Dog said that bait barge is open 24 hours a day. Crazy

      Hey man, sorry I'm actually not sure what type of reel it was. The gear was supplied by Glenn but you're right it handled those hali great!
