I'm definitely no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure the Salty mascots could still be charged with assault, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to murder, desecrating a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
yknow what I realized about Mr. Frog? They weren't upset that he tried to eat the TMZ reporter, they were upset that he FAILED to. Notice how when he successfully ate the big producer, they went wild? :V
If you still care to know Shy Guy, Mardi Gras is a festival celebrated before Ash Wednesday, French for "Fat Tuesday" where you just party and binge before fasting. Mardi Gras is commonly celebrated in the ethnically French American cities like New Orleans. But in Brazil, it's called Entrudo, which is part of Carnival.
Mr Frog didn't actually say anything, they just has a lot of "sssssssssssssssssssss" and then bleeped it out to let your imagination do the work. Also, the bit in Frowning Friends where he said about the Puerto Ricans is a joke between them all, since the guy who did the voice for the strange-headed man ("I actually wanted to kill all the Puerto Ricans") is their friend Lyle Rath... who is Puerto Rican. :D
Also the bit in the Christmas episode where old Glep says "yes son, Hell is real, and Christianity was right all along. Sorry." was voiced by Josh tomar who is actually Jewish 😂
Technically The Smiling Friends Go To Brazil isn't the season finale, it's a special that aired to troll viewers into thinking they were actually staying in Brazil.
Shrimp: "So uhh... do you like Mousequest?" Jennifer: "Ugh, no! Mousequest 1 was a glitchy-mess! Mousequest 2 is waaaay better." Shrimp: "I know, right? Better mice and more quests!" Jennifer: "and the servers don't crash every 5 minutes. Mind if I sit here? Shrimp: "Uhh, no. i do not mind at all."
Idk why I loved episode 9 so much it was super realistic sounding with the conversations and the phone call and it was kinda funny to me how realistic it all sounded
I don’t see much love for it but just imo the mip shit was the subversion of the “oh everything is a typical fantasy quest” shit that the “land of fantasy” was working towards, and at the end switching the conflict to be an extremely modern and succinct “this shit happens all the time irl and you understand exactly how much this matters” situation is genius imo .
I relate so hard to the Brazil episode from the time me and my friends went London Most stressful day of my life, but we got a hotel eventually but cost a fortune for a terrible room miles from where we wanted to be I was like Charlie and I also suggested a Google doc
The two dudes who created the show (and a lot of people who worked on it one way or another) were doing "Meatcanyon" kind of stuff waaaaay before he even had a youtube channel. We're talking early to mid 2000s era on Newgrounds
I feel like if anything Christians WOULDNT like that joke. He goes "yes Christianity is real and so is hell, sorry" sort of a negative joke on Christianity. Its not that offensive all around tho imo.
That line is a joke about how in the show all other religions are proven wrong from Charlie’s experience in hell. Also it’s a meta joke since old Glep is voiced by Tomar who is Jewish.
@@thevanillafeziant the "hell is real" and following it up by "sorry" it the negative part I meant I know my Grandma sure didnt like it. Its not super offensive tho most people don't really catch it even.
I'm Christian and I didn't mind it. It's just a joke, I don't think there's any agenda behind it. A lot of Christians do get easily offended by stuff like that so I can't speak for everyone, but I have no issue with it.
I always took the ending of the Hell episode to be “Christianity is right, ain’t that shitty?” not “haha Christianity was right you guys were wrong :p”
@@Old_Josephmade a friend that’s Jewish? Makes total sense since he's been eating the yellow bug for so many seasons that when he tried and failed irl, they were mad.

A very demonic celebration

They technically are. That plane-crash at the end would result in the airport being locked-down for three days.
Zach and Michael really blew the competition out of the water with this show. They really get it.

They called the VA of the boss without saying anything, he literally improved the entire situation.

Also a direct reference to the IRL Björk stalker, who legit mailed her a bomb.

Are smiling friends fans recommending reactors to binge it cause it's coming up a lot on different channels around the same time. Also good vid man
I loved this video! Season 2 will be wild. Keep up the good work 😁
i cant waittttttttt
I think this show is the best 15 minute show on adult swim since aqua teen, and we even got that back too!
1:00:14 I kinda wanna watch you learn what Mardi Gras is.
i wanna knowwww
It’s basically a black-French/pagan holiday that celebrates spring and fertility. It’s just a load of food and fun I think.
Episode 5- it would’ve been considered planning to murder someone and tampering with a corpse
Only 5 comments!? Nanananah, let me help you with that.
