- Loganair Scotland's airline operates routes to some of the mos beautiful islands in Scotland, but which is best. This week we fly on loganair on one of Loganair's Embraer ERJ-145 over to Benbecula in the Western Isles of Scotland also known as the Scottish outer Hebrides. Benbecula is one of Scotland's most Beautiful islands with one of Scotland most beautiful airports and landing, so today we find out just how beautiful benbecula is by flying loganair over to benbecula and then hiring a car from car hire Hebrides and taking a journey around the scottish islands of Benbecula North Uist, South Uist, Grimsay & Berneray in the western isles to find out if the Western Isles and Outer Hebrides really are the most beautiful islands in Scotland and the UK.

What would you do on a day trip to the Western Isles?
Really beautiful! The view on the incoming flight & the landing on the Island was spectacular! Then, the scenery on your walk in the woods & on the drive back was just lovely! The Crab at the wee Seafood Cafe you stopped at looked very fresh & so delicious! Mmmm! I really love Crab as well but haven't had it in years. So, watching you eat your Crab dinner there was making my mouth water! I also really loved the accompanying Song you chose for your drive back. It is a great Song sung by a very talented Singer! Aye laddie! Twas perfect for the trip back! Thank you for sharing your delightful wee adventure to Benbecula. Blessings to you!

I enjoyed Benbecula while staying in North Uist - I took advantage of the option to pay to accompany the postie doing his rounds and that was fantastic! Everyone knows the postie so lots of local chitchat while seeing stunning scenery.

Went to Benbecula in 2009 while staying in Lochboisdale. Good place
Out side of the central belt and major cities Scotland is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy the true outdoors, as a child we visited most of the mainland of this great country and have it on my bucket list to visit the island's. Thanks for you video's and i have now subscribed to your channel.

Very nice. Apart from the rare spot of rain (which neatly desisted after your tantrum in the woods!!) it looks like you had a pretty decent weather day for the trip overall. Benbecula is one of those places I'd struggle to visit, being a non driver. But the Embraer 145 looked fun, as always. The noise of those engines!

Super. I've flown to Benbecula three times and it's a fine place but my favourite destination is Barra. Glad you liked the Loganair Barbie-Jet. Nice aircraft.
Got a Barra flight in on the channel and I must say it is one of the best landings I’ve ever done, definitely one of the most unique.
Good decision to carry on filming after the air flight, as it gave us a taste of the area. Scenery looked beautiful, but you really need transport to do things there. Really enjoyed this.
Thank you very much! A car is very much required on the islands other than a ferry's & limited bus service there isn't much else in the way of public transport.

The western Isles are beautiful, I need to do another trip soon! We normally camp in the dunes at traigh-stir on North uist!

Sadly not. I decided against it in the end. It was really great meeting you though, you were one of the first people I met through TH-cam so i'll always remember that. Did you have a chance to fly on the Flybe 2.0 again before they went under?

I had booked a trip GLA-BHD-BHX-GLA on BEE to go back down to BHX, however it went bust in January when I was travelling in March if I remember so. Things happen - there is always Universal Air Dash 8's in Malta. You should check them out for a possible video £25/30 fares on their Dash 8s!
@@captainnathan2621 I was the same, had been booked on the first flight on Flybe from Aberdeen to Birmingham but sadly they went under. Thankfully i used my credit-card to managed to get my money back.
I will definitely have to check out universal air as I'm in the process of putting together a big trip for the second half of the year covering the Mediterranean and Balkans.

What’s the make of camera clipped on ? Is that the camera you use all the time ? Ie Do you use it for the face on pieces or do you use others ?
Beautiful - especially the woodland trail. Were there any red squirrels? Would love to visit Scotland one day. My grandfather lived in Cluny.

I generally appreciate your videos. However, I beg you to give the constant references to coffee a break. I like coffee too, but you mention it an average of 7 times in your videos.
Noted! i will certainly take that onboard & try to reduce the coffee references in the videos themselves, though removing them completely maybe problematic with it being my on the go drink of choice. 😅 Thanks for the feed back, genuinely its things like this that help me improve the videos for people which is my main goal.
