My tremor in in my head and has been for many years. My hands are not affected as much but as my mom got holder it started affecting her hands as well as her head. Will this procedure help with the head shaking
What are the chances that Essential Tremor will be pass to my future children at some point in the future ? I don't have kids but I'm hoping to be pregnant someday in the future . Is there a test I could do to check if ET will be pass to my future kids?
I'm 61. I have had tremors most of my life. Started in gradeschool for me. My Mom has it...her sister and other family members. Two of my 4 children have it. I am a photographer and beadwork artist...it affects every aspect of my life.
@@akvicky50 Hi Vicky, I’m a man 34, I have it, can’t play guitar, can’t play piano, can operate a camera so I quit the videographer job, can’t hold my head steady while I’m in barbershop, I don’t know what life means without tremor, I had tremor since I was 15, sometimes people are asking me why I’m so nervous, they don’t know I’m not nervous, it’s the body who took the control out of me, never mind, at least now I know the life is not so important that most of people think, my left arm is also broken which made my tremor worser, nothing else matter
@@fun-dg1zu same situation my hand shakes specially right hand and left hand least. My head shakes not as much as in this video but shakes alot. My trunk shakes due to tremor in my lower back when i am standing they dont shake when i am relaxed but do shake when i am nervous or at a social event. I am from pakistan so here social events are more then in other parts of world. Hair cutting was also a big deal for me at barbor shop specially without support. Its embarising in front of people but i am kind of used to this. I am using nutritional yeast that is non fortified and its showing improvements. It all started when i was only 17 and now i am 39. I hope it wont get as bad in near future as i am going towards old age. Life is a struggle with this illness but you have to make ways to live or you are alone and depressed. I am lucky that people never commented on my weakness or made fun of me. Hope there is better cure in future.
My heart goes out to you, and I wish that you make a complete recovery. I started having tremor symptoms at 25. It has been a tough journey.

I go to the neurologist in 2 days for my tremors. Hope for help. Runs in my family heavily

@@akvicky50 Will you ever consider DBS or Focused Ultrasound? I'm not sure why folks in their 60s or 70s don't do it...
@@josephsonners2743 my Mom had the ultra sound. It helped for a few days and it came back. If I knew for sure anything would work I would try it
