I’m confused on why they use a towel when doing the princess leia buns. What’s the difference between adding the cloth and just doing the buns without?? Does it decrease hard creases or something?

My guess is that it helps absorb the water so that your hair is fully dry in the morning! If I were to go to bed with a wet bun at night, it would still be wet in the morning

Rachel M I was thinking about that as well. I tried using the towel and my hair was still wet in the morning haha. I’m going to try doing it many hours before bed and see if that helps. The funny part is, if I don’t use the towel, my hair dries properly overnight even I do it right before bed hahaha

Your comb is messing the curls up. Try gently finger combing just to loosen the curls up, not comb the curl out.
