That’s why I love the Analog. Forces me to eat healthier and keep on a regular riding schedule because you have to to keep up the energy and fitness to ride the Analog. Nice ride.
No matter how much keep my fitness up and exercise which I do a lot of, it's extremely difficult for me to climb on an analog bike being 268 lbs. I'll keep riding my SL and enjoying it! Maybe one day but that day is not now.
Great to hear you're in the gym. Biggest change for me was doing kettlebell work outs. 50/50 cardio and conditioning, I feel great on the bike after a few weeks of doing it.
What always gets me if I have not ridden in a while is anxiety. The anxiety of not having ridden in a while and how much its going to hurt. Once past that and on a ride I feel so much better! Glad to see you back on the trails Tony!
Don’t forget that weak point training if you’re bothering to go to the gym. You’re only as strong as your weakest point. Always good getting back on the bike after some time. Currently recovering from a thumb sprain, had a nice hiker with his head up his phone, standing dead center in the trail, move just enough to let me by, then decided to step out early, and rather than hit him, I went off line and smacked a pole, went major OTB. Day 6 of ice and bike maintenance. About to do some weak point work myself. Tibialis raises, face pulls, hip exercises, super lower back, hamstrings, forearms and maybe some abs. These are all great compliments to any bike riders workout.
Good to see you back out there!! I have two more weeks on broken bone in my wrist , Can't wait to get back on my bike. But at lets I have been able to do some trail work.
I had a mountain bike crash in late October with multiple ribs brakes . I was healing up and coming into Christmas time when I developed breathing problems . Went to the hospital and diagnosed with with fluid around my broken rib lung and a pulmonary embolism which has a 30 percent death rate . Yikes . Put me on blood thinners and went home after a couple days . Did a 27.5 mile and 2500ft elevation gain ride last week and felt good . I started riding again in early February going very slowly . I am in zone 2 for most of my ride not pushing my cardio as maybe I use to and may remain that way for the foreseeable future . Now I credit my rebound to a extreme healthy diet and giving up smoking and alcohol some 25 years ago . The extreme diet was maybe over a decade ago as my blood work wasn't good which the diet corrected . This was your wakeup call Tony and I am glad you recognize it but you may have to take it a bit further .
I did that same route on Saturday and the end of Rock-IT was super blown out. Like you I did Lynx 2nd and thought it would be more blown out then it was and was stoked it was running really good!
Someone has done some good work on Lynx recently, as well as 5 Oaks and Mentally Sensitive. Laguna trails are a mess, though, better to stick with Aliso.
Yeah , sometimes you’re just gonna be off the bike. Made a bad move on the pickle ball court that resulted in a severed Achilles. Was able to get back on the bike after 9 months . Rode for about 6 months and slipped in my yard taking the chicken an apple and tore the rotator cuff ! So another 6 months off to be cleared to ride in July . Retired , so I don’t have to keep up a You Tube channel! LOL !! Hang tough and beware the RUTS !!
You can talk smack all you want about Fullerton Loop. But don’t ever trash Coyote Run in Aliso. Literally gnarliest DH trail they have. Redbull hardline won’t even host an event there. Too dangerous. 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Nice to see you riding a real mtb again. Your downhill runs look better and faster. And it will help with your fitness levels positively. Cheers.
Good to see you back on the bike. Looking forward to the new content 🤘🏼

lol, perfect timing at 2:40 with the birdy swooping through the landscape! Glad you're OK and getting back out on the trails!
Congrats! 'Slow is smooth, smooth is fast' as the Navy Seal saying goes.

Also, Lynx looks like so much fun!
U should make a bike break down video of what parts u have on and what bikes u have
Good job getting out there. I feel like the whole pitch about there not being people on the trail during the week maybe could have been cut. 😂😂😂
HAHAHA
Real mountain bike ftw. If I stay active and healthy on my real bike now I will likely have years of great ebiking in my future.
Excuse is so true, Ct dude.
Glad to see your back in the saddle dude 🙏🙏

Riding (vicariously) right behind you Tony, don't slow down, your brake light is not working.🤣👍🏼

Been thinking about selling my 23 S-Works Enduro. I'm really interested in the Capria .
