Thank you for this video! It is very helpful. I have a QUESTION and I hope you could help me out. So my pgwp has already expired last month (November) but was granted an Interim work authorization til May. Since my pgwp is already expired, I read that I am still able to restore my status and apply for the 18 month open work permit at the same time. So my question is about the date under 7 CURRENT COUNTRY OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE. The date I out is from nov 2019 to nov 2022, and I could not submit it because the (to) date has to be today or in the future. So I am scared I would submit the form and not being able to put the correct date. What do you think is the acceptable date for me to be able to submit the form. Thank you so much!

Sir, I have a visitor visa, but my stay permit is out of status. Apart from this, the government has given us 90 days. But even 80 days out of that have passed. I have only 10 days for restoration . And I have also applied for restoration . Is this possible??

You can apply for PGWP now online or go for Flagpol for it..
Extension of SIN is a separate process so you can do it anytime before or after application of PGWP.

Question - My permit is expiring on March 31, and I wanted to leave Canada on between 25 March 2021 and 31 March 31 2021, I have not applied for any other kind of status as I want to leave for next 5 years, so my question is do I have to apply to change status if my flight gets cancelled and my new flight is given after 31 March 2021, and if I am without status after 31 March 2021, but leave before Aril 30 2021, will I be liable for overstay in Canada?
It is not a good practice to overstay. You should get some visa extension or visitor visa to stay in Canada legally. Apply it before the last date of visa. Even if you have applied, you can stay in Canada without getting the result.

I have a question. So my extended study permit was till march 30 my course completed in march 23 but the transcripts and degree was given/handed out on april 9. Now when I’m applying for PGWP I cannot put that my status is still student because when I do it doesn’t accept the expiry date. What to do next ? Do i need to restore my study visa and pay the restoration fee? Do I need to submit aa letter? But in the transcript letter it is written their that the transcripts were conferred on April 9. So do i just need to attach the restoration receipt? thats it? what to put on the status?

I applied for my restoration in 90 days as my implied status work permit got rejected my wife got an work permit extension for 18 months however I dint get any news on my work permit however my question is do I also need to file for my visitors record also in 90 days is it compulsory??
It is not mandatory for apply for Visitor Visa but we use to maintain status in Canada.
Better way is to apply for it when you are in status to maintain status in case something bad happens with your application. Or it keeps you on implied status if your previous visa is expiring.

I guess no but I am not completely sure about it. Mostly students apply for Bridging Work Permit and they can work during the application processing but it happens when you have status in Canada.

Hi brother, currently i am taking 2nd program in canada and my visa is going to expire in jan 2025. I will finish my study on oct and then can apply for pgwp. But i applied for my wife sowp on dec 1 2023, and still we are not getting any decision. I heard that if the spouse visa (person in canada) is less than 6 months, Ircc reject the visa due to shorter time frame. So, in this case, is there any way that i can say Ircc that even after completing my study on oct, i can apply for pgwp so that they wont reject our file due to less than six month duration cause.?
