I love SO MUCH that Tan is married to a Mormon man. There seems to be so much divisiveness in the Mormon and LGBTQ community, so it’s SO important to have this representation of how religion and sexual orientation can actually coexist.
My kids were young in the 90's and early 2000's... I raised them watching and loving the original show, and we all would exclaim about how wonderful the acts of kindness we saw were, and how talented each of the men were at what they did. I marveled at how my kids loved them as humans and not as any sort of label; we were just in awe of their skills and spirit! BRAVO to the new generation, we were thrilled to see it come back in this updated version. SO important, and still amazing!

It just makes me happy that there ARE parents that "allow" their kids to watch a show like queer eye & are openly talking about it in a casual way. Props to you my friend. I grew up with VERY open parents with outrageous friends whom were mostly gay & it was just normal. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you :) I am a middle school teacher. I cheer inside every day about how my students do not bat an eye at things that were SO not accepted in my place and time when I was their age. They are smarter and more accepting than we were taught to be, so I do my best to support that every day. It does come naturally to them, and in the end, they are all looking to be loved and accepted in some way. In these days of suicide and school shootings, we have to HAVE TO teach them to accept, love, reach out, and take the time to get to know someone else's story. Shows like Queer Eye are so brilliant with that!
Oh, that guy was so wrongfully terminated! When you work overtime, they have to pay you. I’m pretty sure the manager clocking them out early was the one in the wrong. Oooh, someone in hr didn’t train their supervisors. I hope he sued or reported them.

I LOVE that the first Queer Eye cast are passing the torch. I was such a HUGE fan of the first cast. I binged on the new season and I was hooked after the first episode. Happy for the new guys. Love them and wish them nothing but success. Thanks, Netflix for bringing this iconic show back.

When I watched the original series I remember thinking of Kyan as being incredibly cute but with the new fab 5, it’s almost a five way tie with Antoni just slightly edging out the others.
I was very young when the original was on TV and can remember how cool I thought it was to see these wonderful men helping transform people’s lifestyles and perspectives. I’ve loved the new era and can’t wait for more episodes.

I loved Queer Eye growing up!! Am straight but I am sure watching it had a positive impact on me. You normalized being gay for many people, including me. What you see is what becomes norm. I can't remember an attitude change towards being gay, I think I've always been open minded and interested and curious as a kid. But I am so glad you have made such an impact!!! Being in high school in a small town the OG’s were my exposure to queer culture. I’m more like the people they were helping lol but they were so impactful as a queer teenager. Of course the new one makes me cry every episode lol

You bring out the best them that was always there. You introduced them to themselves and now they are best friends with themselves. You are an amazing group of gentlemen. I just discovered Queer Eye episodes, and have binge-watched every one of them. I find it a shame that others reject a community of great people. No one has to like everything about the gay community, but we were told "above all, love". That is very clear, and does not say "above all love, except for gays". You don't have to like everything they do, but we were told to love, just because we are all humans. I am not gay, but I have friends who are, and if you listen instead of hating, you may find that you've just made a new best friend. The Fab 5 are definitely doing a good job of "loving" others. I just love this show, and will look forward to season 3!
Jai and Karamo are only 1 year apart. It boggles my mind that they're about the same age, just Jai was on the og qe when he in his early twenties (and he was way younger than the others who were in their 30s, for Ted Allen - 40) and Karamo is in the new qe as the oldest.
I have never heard of this show until Netflix. I can't say how lovely these men are. Sweet, honest, funny and a joy to watch. I would love to watch the past episodes.
