    It's still amazing how ALMOST EVERYTHING in these videos/TVshop etc. is useless if you have good knives...
    Also: who in the world needs such a small amount of cheese?
    Also2: By cutting an orange in 6 slices it is still not peeled...wtf does that thing even do??

    • @tladybug100

    That herb mincer did absolutely nothing. The demonstrator gives up halfway thru and just throws the entire herb away still with leaves on it, not to mention the unminced cilantro she tries rolling over! lol

      Codey Foltz i saw the coolest pair of scissors that are made for herbs. It’s almost like five scissors stuck together except not bulky or ugly like your picturing. It did an awesome job on all the fresh herbs. I am definitely getting the scissors gadget I saw. Look for it online.

      I tried a gizmo similar to the spiralizer (same product, different name). It took me about five minutes to 'spiralize' one serving of carrots for one person.
      So it takes me around ten minutes to cut two types of veggies, or 15 minutes for three, or 20 for four...
      Anything harder than a zucchini or a cucumber becomes really tedious, or even strenuous work.
      Radishes, horse radish, carrots, cellery heads, cabbages, you name *any* vegetable thats not over 90% water content becomes a real pain in the butt to 'spiralize'.
      Yeah, sure, right... watch me twisting my arm for twenty minutes in always the same motion for a single meal for four people...
      oh, and I didn't cook one single serving yet...
      From my own experience a total waste of money and time.
      I threw mine away after that first disastrous attempt.

    • @ijustwanttocomment21
      @ijustwanttocomment21 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Amanda Bonnette doesn't work if you're disabled. Many people can't grip knives with the pressure required to chop or cut vegetables or their hands shake making cutting unsafe. A lot of these things seem dumb but when you live with disabilities these things can make you feel like you're still capable of doing things you love or need to do.

    Nr1. I like the idea, but it takes such a small amount so I'd rather just do it with a knife.
    Nr2.can it cook bacon too? I'm not gonna complain about it though, it's a good idea
    Nr3.Waste of money, I'd rather just use a normal grater. Besides it has got such a small space for the cheese to go into.
    Nr4.This is kinda unnecessary, it's so easy and fun to do with a knife.
    Nr5.pretty smart actually, peeling and mincing can be a little pain sometimes.
    Nr6.I like the powdered sugar and small thingies but the rest aren't so necessary really.
    Nr7.because you're doing it wrong, use a sharp knife. PS, you said citrus fruits are messy and then used an apple as an example?
    Nr8.not bad (insert Obama meme here).

    8. That's pretty useless.
    7. Cute, but not effective.
    6. That is just stupid, not enough cutting/shredding surface and no different types of shredders.
    5. That's pretty useful, but looks like it will break down on you the moment you really need it.
    4. Looks legit.
    3. I like the medium and small size containers. The bigger ones look too bulky.
    2. I prefer the standard ones.

    Spaghetti is cheap and easy and most households probably eat it more often then they would really like too. So if this guy thinks I want more spaghetti looking food, he is crazy. Plus spaghetti shape is messy but nature. And no way would my kids be fooled by that. The only time that thing make be cool is if you are throwing a big party and you want to use some food to make another food like cool or like a decoration.

    Anybody knows what the brown wet thing is for in the brown sugar pro keeper?

    • @bringbackbeatles
      @bringbackbeatles 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nena Castro Martinez Apparently it's a terra-cotta disc. In the video they wet the disc and put it into the container to keep the brown sugar moist.
