I think the Sin is that studio logos and stuff have been getting longer and longer as time goes on. I remember when the studio logos lasted like 1 or 2 seconds as just a flash on the screen during the opening credits. Now they last 20 - 30 seconds or more.

... you do know symbi9tes get stronger with each generation, right? Check Venom's official power level compared it it's spawn Carnage's, and Riot (if I remember correctly) is Carnage's spawn and therefore even stronger than them... or was that Toxin?

Its 4 hosts were still imperfect matches, but Riot used them more as vessels than food, and killed them slowly enough to effectively use them, but still ultimately killed them before bonding with Drake. Although, I guess that's never explicitly told to us, so that makes my idea little more than a theory, and that still a legit sin, I guess.

In fact, wasn't when the Patreon thing happened around the point he began virtue signaling, because he was desperate to look woke, but was just as desperate to have it both ways?
I have to say you get better with every video. 2nd I appreciate that you do solid research. 3rd I was lowkey upset with the CS video because it was completely negative. Honestly I kind of like this movie, even if it isn't very good. It's a different take for sure, and I love the design and voice of Venom (reminds me of the PS1 game, my first introduction to the character) and I kind of dig his characterization. He's kind of like a werewolf with two souls, Jekyll and Hyde if both faces could speak to each other openly.

Loved cinema sins when it started as it focused on continuity issues with a joke here and there, but jokes weren't needed we laughed at the stupidity of the obvious that was overlooked. Now cinema sins is the joke.
@@Th3Birdman I didn't really get that from the movie, not even that scene with Drake felt like the movie trying to be woke. He didn't so much silence the girl as he did not answer the question. She asked a question, got silenced, then Drake brought her forward and gave her a speech and left. He didn't ask her what her question was. Even if you see that scene as "woke", he is the villain, and the fact that he's doing his best to manipulate young children is one of the things that show this.

Nah, I like them both, he birdman is great, but Istill love Jeremy's cynical outlook towards everything, like he says in his own "everything wrong with cinimasins" video, he points out useless details, and he knows that it makes him sound like an asshole, because that's the point.

11:15 watching the movie, and hearing Venom talk about "thinking of consuming Eddie's liver" on the side, I always figured it was something of a decision of the symbiote what host to accept, or if they get enough energy from consuming living organisms. I mean, at one point, it was clear Venom was eating off his organs (the MRT scene), but after eating.. well.. the lobster, a bad guy henchman, and prob. some other things and people, that never came back up. So I guess at some point Venom accepted Brock as the host and stopped consuming him. Meanwhile all the other symbiotes were not accepting their hosts and merely using them up for survival. Which is why that one symbiote that got accepted by the host in the lab eventually died. I mean... that would be my explanation, I did not think of it as a plot hole really.
That is a fair idea. That homeless person was not seen eating much or anything at all. Also they are HOMELESS. I assume the consumption of nutrients is inconsistent. We see eddy eat multiple times and we see when eddy transformers he bites off peoples heads. Venom might not have to fees off of eddy. So in turn eddy has a higher chance of survival.

Well, considering that disclaimer is there since quite a while and Jeremy was actually funny and pointing out real plotholes back in the ancient times... I personally loved this movie and I love how they DIDNT put Spider-Man in even though I would’ve loved to see him face off against Venom again, I feel like if they did have Spider-Man in this movie, people would compare it to the original Spider-Man trilogy too much. Besides in the original comics (which this is based off of) Venom wasn’t a villain he was an anti-hero, just like he is here. And in the Spider-Man movie where Venom first made his debut he was portrayed as a villain. Also just an after thought but Riot wasn’t merging with those people like Venom did with Eddie, where the symbiote combines with the host but only takes over if it has to, Riot was just taking over people’s bodies until they became useless to him so he’d discard those bodies and get a new one

Even if you see that scene as "woke", he is the villain, and the fact that he's doing his best to manipulate young children is one of the things that show this.

11:15 watching the movie, and hearing Venom talk about "thinking of consuming Eddie's liver" on the side, I always figured it was something of a decision of the symbiote what host to accept, or if they get enough energy from consuming living organisms. I mean, at one point, it was clear Venom was eating off his organs (the MRT scene), but after eating.. well.. the lobster, a bad guy henchman, and prob. some other things and people, that never came back up. So I guess at some point Venom accepted Brock as the host and stopped consuming him.
Meanwhile all the other symbiotes were not accepting their hosts and merely using them up for survival. Which is why that one symbiote that got accepted by the host in the lab eventually died.
I mean... that would be my explanation, I did not think of it as a plot hole really.
That is a fair idea. That homeless person was not seen eating much or anything at all. Also they are HOMELESS. I assume the consumption of nutrients is inconsistent. We see eddy eat multiple times and we see when eddy transformers he bites off peoples heads. Venom might not have to fees off of eddy. So in turn eddy has a higher chance of survival.

Well, considering that disclaimer is there since quite a while and Jeremy was actually funny and pointing out real plotholes back in the ancient times... I would not be suprised if it is no more than a show of respect for the old Cinemasins, and the stark contrast with his current tone being obviously annoyed makes it all the more fitting.

Its boggling how many of Jeremy's sins just come from him not knowing how films work.
I personally loved this movie and I love how they DIDNT put Spider-Man in even though I would’ve loved to see him face off against Venom again, I feel like if they did have Spider-Man in this movie, people would compare it to the original Spider-Man trilogy too much. Besides in the original comics (which this is based off of) Venom wasn’t a villain he was an anti-hero, just like he is here. And in the Spider-Man movie where Venom first made his debut he was portrayed as a villain.
Also just an after thought but Riot wasn’t merging with those people like Venom did with Eddie, where the symbiote combines with the host but only takes over if it has to, Riot was just taking over people’s bodies until they became useless to him so he’d discard those bodies and get a new one
