I've been trying to perfect a Trickstar Horus mash up following the same principles used here. Using Giantrainer for draws and burn damage. The synergy with blue tears spell, mandrake, reincarnation, trickstar fusion, all being viable discard options looks good! You land on Appolluasa plus a trickstar link and hopefully a few drawn or searched traps.
That sounds spicy I didnt think of that. I was considering doing this with Runick instead. Like you said same concept. The trickstars give you advantage, board presence, and discard fodder

great video! I was trying them out pure, with runick, and with fiendsmith (lithiums build) and honestly none felt great. Excited to try this one!
Thanks Bro!! 😃Its a good advantage engine with decent discard fodder for sure. Runick is a good idea too, but I think you'll find theres a bit more synergy with Labrynth.
@@earthteamjordan I found special summoning the runick in the extra monster zone clashed really bad because the trickstar xyz need all trickstar names
@@NikoAmii Yup I experienced the same thing. Runick basically locks you out of all the Trickstar link monsters. Also going into the Trickstar links means you cant summon any of the Runick Fusions

Well, it can ftk way more often than it could in the past, and all of it is in archetype. Some trickstar cards got better now, mandrake became solid because its "sent from hand" eff is nice in combo with herald of orange light and just fusing with her from hand.
The deck can field noble angel, maiden of blue tears and bella madonna consistently. Lightstage/candina + any other name does it. And you have follow-up.
Lycoris still does lycoris things, dodging imperm helps a ton still.
Chain summoning is easier to trigger now, just go cl1 hoodie cl2 bloom cl3 chain summoning. You autowin if you resolve that and got candina.
Only thing I need to figure out is if I need to run more anti-nib stuff or just herald is enough.
Deck changed quite a bit after the support. Focus shifted to link climbing and fusion, I was super lost too at first lol, took me a day or two to figure it out.
