Not only does she sound cute, but the "Idgaf"-energy her voice and actions give is hilarious. As the most levelheaded and smallest, she was always one of my favorite of the femritters and in fact the sternritters in general, so it was awesome to see her done justice and get some new moves too.
Liltotto is by far my favorite member of the Bambies. I think besides Giselle she is definitely the most interesting of them all and she’s always entertaining when on screen/page
From the moment the bambis started their transformations, I had a smile on my face til the end of the episode. Really hoping future additions will follow on that level of quality
This episode actually makes a couple references to very early in the series. Ichigo smacking away the Bambis was reminiscent of him taking down three lieutenants in the Soul Society arc, and telling Candice to dodge reminded me of when he said the same thing to Urahara back when he first used Getuga Tensho.
I saw someone mention when Renji tells Ichigo, “It’s your job.” it’s a callback to Ichigo telling him the same in the Soul Society rescue arc. It’s def drawing some nostalgic parallels.
I loved how they did a magical girl transformation for the Bambies. It really puts a bit of a humorous spin on a brutal war. I especially loved Giselle's powers because they are cartoony with Hanna Barbera sound effects but are devious in actuality.
They kept saying Vollstandig was exhausting, so it's possible Sklaverei's purpose is letting the Sternritter recharge/power up. It might also be the true purpose of the halo - a constant effect passively absorbing extra reishi to maintain their abilities
This is exactly what I was thinking. I think it's implied the Bambis all learned Vollständig relatively recently compared to some of the other Sternritters, so they have a greater need for Sklaverai to keep their power topped up
Exhausting? Really? Like Bankai and Ressurection was said many more times than Vollstandig has been. And it being daid multiple times made those words iconic. Also Sklaveraiwas already explained in during the Quilge fight. So there is no "I guess" in it. It basically is just an extensive reisshii absorption via their halo and to counteract it. Those halo needs yo be destroyed. And of course since they absorbed an enormous amount of it then I make sense it will give them significant power boost
So re: Ichigo warning Candice; it's important to remember, Bleach is anti-revenge. Ichigo isn't fighting to get revenge for people the Sternritters killed and, importantly, Ichigo has reached a level of enlightenment now. He wants to stop the Sternritter and defeat Yhwach, but he's not out to kill them out of revenge, and now he knows the history of the Reio and the Quincies, so he understands their motivations and knows they aren't pure evil (even if they're pretty fucked up in the head, but like, Mayuri is there sooooo).
Honestly I couldn’t care less when it came to the bambies other than bambietta and Candace before. Now I like all their characters. The anime gave them uniqueness and also made Gisselle likeable cause before she wasn’t in my book
Ichigo only used Getsuga Jujisho to block Electrocution, he didn't mean to hit Candice. It's also possible that he genuinely didn't know how powerful it would be until after he used the technique.
This episode was so fucking good! I thought this really explained well why Kenpachi struggled to take the Bambis down. Ichigo’s entrance with the new version of “Number One” was awesome! I loved the interaction between Ichigo and Kenpachi. I loved that Ichigo was completely unfazed by the Bambis. The Bambis basically having Voll Stern Dich be a magical girl transformation makes so much sense and is so funny to me. You can really see Ichigo’s power and power increase because Getsuga Tenshō is no longer this big move, it’s like flicking a wrist. And art looks even stronger. Getsuga Jūjishō look amazing! I don’t know why but I laughed really hard when Gigi got bit in the neck by Liltotto’s attack. I think showing Aizen was to set up that he is one of the five war powers. I was hoping they would add the Uryu and Ichigo fight. I guess that will be later on.
I think it was so cool that they actually gave the Bambies Vollständig names and gave them moves. It was cool to see the Bambies using Sklaverei to power up their Vollständigs. I wonder if we'll see more powered up Vollständigs or if this was just a one and done time thing.
Ichigo's return was a triumph of the greatest order. He's back into the fight and sure gave the Bambis a nice clash. Don't know what Candice was thinking believing she'd be unharmed by an attack by the top war potential. The hero saves others as always.

This whole scenario in gaming form: You’ve just finished fighting a high level enemy player and your HP is extremely low. You’re suddenly found by a squad of lurking noobs who’ve spent the whole game picking off low-health players for easy kills. They’re about to finish you off when your God-tier squad mate comes back from being AFK.
Ichigo telling Candace to dodge it is one of my favorite scenes because it mirrors a scene from another anime from a character who is so much like Ichigo it is crazy. I'm talking about when Yusuke while possessed shot a full power spirit gun at Sensui and told him to dodge it when he came to his senses.
As much as I wanted to see an actual fight of Ichigo and 8 of the sternritters, I am happy that we still an expansion of him against the bambis and the fight itself improved so many things from the manga. The bambis really show why they are indeed captain level threats and ichigo was to able showcase more of his power by taking them on in their Volstang form with ease and in shikai form, while initially he had to overpower one in bankai form. Like he was control and dominating the entire fight.
I feel spoiled cuz I feel no other anime or work of fiction has a page like this. A purely informative encyclopedia or amazing analysis. Each video I have to rewatch a bunch of episodes just from pure enjoyment of the show!
39:00 I think this is how it works: Most of the Vollständig we saw already in the anime seem a lot more "designed" than the once we saw for the Bambis in the manga. I think that the Vollständig forms we saw in these episode are there "true" complete Vollständig and the once that have only wings are "incomplete" Vollständig. I think that some of the Sternritter like Quile, Äs, Mask and Bambietta are already experience enough to use the complete Vollständig, while it is said that for example Candice just got access to Vollständig. I think the Bambis HAVE TO use Sklaverei to be able to use their complete Vollständig, fueling and mainting it with all the Reishi they take from the environment.
My take on the cloak is that it's supremely tough in the specific situation of helping its wearer pass through divine barriers, but isn't really armor in the traditional sense. Kind of like how a bulletproof vest will protect you from the impact of a firearm... but someone with a knife will be able to stab you through it just fine. That's just speculation based on what little we see, though. We probably weren't meant to think on it too hard.
The "oken" to begin with are in translation "King's key" It is basically are just meant to unlock the barriers that is hiding the Soul King's palace. It basically is the only thing that can break those barriers. But it don't meant it is also resistant to other attacks. It's like yes, the Squad zero squad are okens and yes they still can be damaged by strong attack.

I am glad they cut the line about him not wanting to fight girls. He literally has been sparring tatsuki his whole life and sees so many strong women in the gotei, it would be a strange attitude to have. Maybe a "I would rather not..." sorta thing but not hesitation.
The big difference this time is "Ichigo understands it is war and their "Fight" is potentially gonna end in one of them dying. Like in essence "sparring is a whole lot different in an actual Fight where Ichigo understands his sword can take a life". And imo interpretation it's contextually an "I rather not fight". And as see in the fight itself Ichigo did fight them immediately without hesitation. And the "I don't want to fight girls" is more like and idealization from him but it did not delay Ichigo in anyway as a sign of hesitation that cause the bambi's to one up him

"It is Ywach's direct orders that the ones who will kill the Captains that had their bankai stolen are the ones who stole their bankai themselves. In Kenpachi's case. It's a free for all. And no orders from Ywach makes it that only a selected quincy "must" kill Kenpachi. Their cases has an obvious hearing contextual difference
Bro you’re crazy.. Ichigo’s new Shihakusho look is 10/10. It looks amazing. Also, even tho the Ouken clothing was destroyed early in the manga, there’s no way the anime would be able to realistically animate Ichigo in all of that clothing for longer than they did.
Ichigo telling Candice to dodge isnt that bizzare honestly, throughout the entire fight he isn’t trying to kill them. The first half of the fight he isn’t even using his new blades and he quickly abandons and ignores them when he races off to stop yhwach. I don’t think ichigo is the type to kill some weaker than him hell arguably the only person he’s killed was Ginjo and he wasn’t happy about it at all.
8:35 I think it’s possible that Zaraki had come to the same incorrect conclusion I had when reading weekly- by turning her bones into cookies, Gremmy effectively turned Yachiru into one of his creations, and she ceased to exist when he died.
I don’t think Ichigo telling Candice to dodge the attack is out of place. Sure Ichigo is willing to kill, but that doesn’t mean he necessarily wants to, even more so with enemies that are far below him in power. At this point, and especially in the Anime, ichigo could kill all the bambis fairly easily but doesn’t. It’s still in character to prefer beating the enemy down versus killing them, the only people he’ll go out of his way to kill are especially dangerous enemies like the royal guard and Yhwach himself. He threw out jujisho very casually, most likely intending for it to just cancel out the technique instead of hitting Candice, this is backed up from his only use of getsuga tensho to cancel the galvano blast earlier. He likely overestimated Candice’s attack while underestimating his own, which shows just how much stronger he’s gotten.
When I think about the Ouken cloak and robes, it's not surprising they can be destroyed. Something that may be resistant to the friction of passing through the 72 layers doesn't mean it can't be shredded or cut. it also likely outlived its usefulness and was probably already brittle from entry.
So the question is: Will the Stern Ritter ranking have to be changed to accommodate for the new abilities in this episode? Also, I appreciate that there's an actual reason as to why Giselle's vollstandig tires her out, since it involves a lot of shaking and dancing.
Not really since Sternritters are supposed to be able to use all Sklaverai anyways. Like Kisuke explained during cour 1. Quincies have 3 main abilities. "Blut Vene" "Volstandig" "Sklaverai". Additional to that is "Ransotengai". Basically they can still puppet them selves via reishii strings to move even if physically they aren't able to move anymore. There not so much more if "new abilities", the manga just wasn't able to fully utilize all there abilities. Volstandig will definitely drain stamina. Why?- because look at Uryu'# Letz Stil in SS arc. That is like the old fashion version of Volsatndig and the drawback of that is basically losing all your quincy powers after using it. Volstandig removes the "losing all your powers" and reduced it to like "losing stamina" in the same way how Vizards are also exhausted after reaching the time limit of their hollow mask.

When she is defeated, there is even narration text that says "cut, like her puppet strings". There is no reason to refer to her as a him when Yumichika and the other arrancar zombie are the only ones that draw attention to it.
Always thought the clothes were strong overall, but mostly specifically for the Shakonmaku as a natural counter to it due to what it's made from (zero squads body etc due to them being fused with Oken. Makes you also think about what those orbs are made of that Kukaku makes for the "fireworks", being able to break the shakomaku and in their traditional role of facilitating the transport to and from the palace. Maybe these orbs have properties of oken or specific properties that mirror the phenomenon that the oken have on the shakonmaku.

I really liked the additions given to Candice and Meninas, who alongside Bambietta were my three favorite Sternritter. And even if it was just a second or two, I'm glad Chad got to do something!
It was great hearing Number 1 im hoping that at some point of the TYBW we'll get to hear Stand Up Be Strong and Invasion at least once edit: yeah it's pretty impressive that they destroyed a cloak that Yhwach called "the ultimate form of protection" in the manga It also makes sense since Candice started to use her bow for the first time when she destroyed it
Firstly I just want to say that I absolutely loved the extended fight. I completely agree with a lot of the editing choices being odd, but overall, I had so much fun watching the Bambies using their Vollstandig and Sklaverei. Something I want to note, is that I watched this on the U.S. version of Hulu and it did reveal that Meninas's schrift is P-the Power in the subtitles, but none of the others which was odd to see. Idk why they just did hers and not the others or if some other places did not have that shown. However, I did want to point that out .

Considered how well the blu-ray fixed a lot of the art inconsistency in cour 1 and even added in animation too, this episode is probably where they need to patch up the most, and also fix a lot of the lip sync animation in the episode 14.
this is my first time watching a review from you and im happy to see how fair you are in judging the anime! most manga readers just get mad at cut scenes but i like that u think critically whether a scene was necessary or not before judging if it was a good/bad choice to cut it
Even though the episode falls short in a number of aspects, I still got what I wanted from this episode at the end of the day: Ichigo's epic return to the sereitei, his fight with the Bambies, and his new Getsuga Jujisho (that was pretty much all I cared about).
I’m curious about Askin’s thought process. He knows there will be a selection, and likely a culling of those not chosen thereafter, but he doesn’t know that he’ll be chosen, he hopes to be chosen, but he’s the only Sternritter doing nothing.
Assuming that the cour ends at Ch 611 (supposedly that's where we'll be heading to based on the still accurate episode leaks), this gives us around 5 chapters to adapt per episode. I wonder how the supposed new fight will fit in the coming weeks, if they haven't covered it already.
One thing about the rerecording or "Number One" that i noticed, its not as high energy as the orginial. I took that to mean that Ichigo was has more control over his power. Since the whole thing about Ichigo up until this point is that he has a lot of weigh to throw around, but no conteol over it, i loved the new recording. The fight following that reinforcing that idea was the cherry on top
Quilge only being able to use Sklaverei with his Volstandig might be a trade-off for making his version of Sklaverei more powerful, as his was literally tearing people apart.

I think mayuri knowing the nature of the royal palace, gates, and soul king makes sense. Aizen and Mayuri are constantly trying to prove they're better and smarter than urahara and when aizen is defeated he talks to urahara as if he knows the true nature of the soul king as well. So it'd be wierd if aizen and urahara knew something like that while mayuri didn't.
The scene at 22:25 with Ichigo VS the Bambies reminds me of the time in the soul society arc when he was wearing the flying cloak to rescue Rukia, and simply punching the lieutenant away effortlessly. That was such an awesome throw back and I got the chills when I saw it in the anime!
The Bambies ain’t shit, but I honestly love them. They really made this episode fun. Their Vollständig transformations gave me Sailor Moon vibes. They said “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” I’m also really glad they kept the scene of the rest of the Bambies landing on Candice in various ways. It was hilarious in the manga and it was hilarious in the anime. Ichigo came back and showed those girls why we call him Ichigoat! I also loved how he told Candice to dodge his attack. He’s HIM but he’s also a gentleman. 🥹
See you understand my pov! A lot of people are over criticizing the bambis! This was one of my favorite episodes. The animation still is better than damn near every anime out now regardless if you noticed the small drop of quality compared to previous episodes the animation quality is still top tier. The little effects they gave the bambis are amazing ! It was a breath of fresh air watching this fight
I hope they add some other fight for Ichigo. It's crazy to think next time he fights someone he gets beaten off panel by Askin and then straight to fight Ywach
I’m still hoping we find out how Rose and Kensei became Zombies but Isane doesn’t. My main theory is that Isane gets them in stable condition and then hears other injured in need of help. I can’t think of any other reason why she’d leave them alone.
The Shinigami's are royally fucked if the current head of the Medical squad are taken out by the enemy so Isane has a duty to survive herself tan sacrifice herself just to save a few. Basically that is why Yamamoto did not allow Unohana to participate in the 1st Invasion.

Whatever the case, some clarification on how rose and Kensei got separated from her would be nice. It’s a bit of a disconnect in the manga. One minute they’re in medical custody and then BOOM! Zombies!
@@austinwright4445 I’m assuming they stopped being dead after Gremmy wasn’t focusing on them. Yachiru’s bones went back to normal after Gremmy turned his focus to Kenpachi, so I’m assuming Rose and Kensei went back to being merely injured. That’s another wrinkle in Gremmy’s power. It seems like his power only effects things or people he’s directly focusing on. It stands to reason that Rose and Kensei would be no different. Plus, why would Isane jump and risk injury to catch two corpses? She’s the only major healer left so that would be extremely stupid.
@@austinwright4445 I was just looking around on the internet and its actually amazing how unclear this is. Some argue that rose and Kensei stayed dead after Gremmy sleep-killed them, which would give Isane no choice but to leave them behind after saving their bodies. While others (myself included), believe that Gremmy’s powers stopped effecting them after his focus shifted, much like what happened with Yachiru’s cookie bones reverting back to normal.
1 neat detail I noticed about Ichigo's return When he lands and crashes through a building, the smoke cloud takes the form of a clawed hand curling for a few seconds (Reminding me personally of his vasto lorde claws).
Didn’t the Bambis already have the holy form activated? In a previous episode Candice and Gigi put their wings away. I figured that meant they had the trigger they needed from Yhwach but they could pull it back out when they needed it. Hence why they used Sklava Rai?
I think the reason why Ichigo warns his enemy of his attack is because he doesn't want to hurt/kill women. He didn't seem to fight them seriously at all.
I personally don't think Sklaverei was used to enhance the Holy Form, but was used to gather enough reishi to fully activate it. From what we know, Vollständig is incredibly taxing on a Quincy, and based on Candace's summoning of her wings without a halo, it seems that a Stërnritter can sort of partially activate Vollständig on their own in a pinch, but if they need to complete it for the full power of the Holy Form, then they need more reishi. Alternatively, it seems as if Ywach can skip this process and forcibly activate their complete Holy Forms, which makes sense given said forms are directly from him.
Sklaverai was used obviously to boost the power if their Vollstandig. Obvious clues is They still showed what base Volstandig Candice looks like and what it looks like after the Sklaverai. It is basically the same reason why Quilge got deformed after using sklaverai on Ayon. Like if he used Skalverai on just the environment and not Ayon himself then Quilge would have transformed more into what the Bambies did. So the big draw back of sklaverai is basically they need to be cautious on what reishii they are gonna absorb. That is why the quincies just don't spam it especially if it is unnecessary.
@@Snzn_7 I mean, maybe, but the fact that Candice used Sklaverei after she manifested the wings to manifest the halo and other accoutrements suggests that they were boosting to a more complete Holy Form with more potent versions of their techniques. It feels a bit like a Shikai to Bankai distinction, yet not really.
After watching your review, I noticed more how ichigo saving kenpachi here mirrors ichigo saving rukia. Ichigo saving them last minute from death with number one blasting away. Ichigo knocking the crap out of 3 enemies without use of Zangetsu. And the Getsuga blast mirroring the explosive release of his bankai. He started off fighting the soul society now he's saving it. It came full circle
When Ichigo cuts that short line in the air for his Getsuga Tenshou, I'm sure that I saw an Arrancar do that to fire a Cero during that arc? (I might be going mad? Does anyone else remember that?)
A thing tommo ignored or don't noted and makes the manga panel made sense is a small dialogue from the operators, they say: The density of reatsu all over soulsociety are decreasing, in other words, hachwalt used sclaveray over all society to make the path to the soulking palace.

Issues I have with the episode's new content: 1. The bambis can apparently just casually do Sklaverai in base form, and this raises issues that weren't as glaring (but still conspicuous) in the manga. -Why does Quilge require his Vollständig form *and* his halo to do what the Bambi's can apparently do in their base forms? -Can other Quincies do it without Vollständig and their halos? When Quilge was the *only* Quincy who used the ability, we could simply assume that the others were under the same or similar restrictions and that's why they didn't ever end up using it, but now the bambis contradict that implication. Logic now dictates that they should *all* be able to use it, but in that case it's conspicuous that they don't simply use it to consume the soul reapers like Quilge consumed Ayon. It's an inconsistency in the narrative that never gets explained or resolved. It's an issue much in the same vein as the Vizards never using their hollow masks; why don't the Quincies use their certain-kill-absorb-everything super move that we know they have? 2. Ichigo shouting at Candice to dodge was always a bit funny but fully within his character originally, but the anime makes it more jarring because for some reason they added that scene showing him intentionally letting Lilltotto's attack decapitate Giselle seconds earlier. He tries to save Candice while fighting her but he was totally fine letting Giselle get her head lopped off? He didn't *know* she'd survive that, so his moral concerns are now inconsistent within the fight. 3. I hate how awkwardly they crammed in the cut to Mayuri just *randomly* explaining exactly what Yhwach is doing and how he's doing it, somehow with full knowledge and understanding of what's happening *AS* it's happening and all of the elements going into it. It made *sense* for Yhwach to know because he literally planned it, but Mayuri is just somewhere else chilling in his lab, randomly knowing everything and stating it out loud for the audience from afar. It was *in character* for Yhwach to explain the situation to Ichigo, shifting it to Mayuri just randomly knowing it and stating it out loud is such a blatant "we need to explain this for the audience but don't know how, so we just have a character show up for a second specifically only to say it to the audience." 4. Showing Aizen properly sealed up in Muken now makes it contradictory and confusing that Aizen wasn't fully sealed during Yhwach's visit. Only people who look it up will know that the anime's showing of their meeting was metaphorical and they were speaking through reiatsu, not in-person as presented, but anime-only viewers will just *see* one scene showing him not sealed and then a next scene where he's fully sealed with no indication of why or how the two scenes were different. This is unfortunately a trend with the anime it seems, as it's not the first thing the anime has adapted in such a way that people who don't read up on supplementary materials will be confused. I have other issues but they were native to the manga and the episode's only culpability in them is that it didn't fix them when I expected it would. To be honest, so far the anime seems to be taking the exact wrong approach to the issues that the manga had. The manga introduced too many plot threads and characters and twist that it then had to drop or off-screen entirely due to time constraints; the obvious solution the anime should've gone for IMO would've been to just not drop them and instead flesh them out like they should have been fleshed out originally. Instead, the anime does the opposite and *omits* those elements entirely, keeps the main plot the exact same flaws-and-all instead of fixing it's issues, and the "expanded content" they're adding is more or less just eye-candy and fan service that's not *actually* important besides being neat to know. They did Oomaeda so dirty!
Ichigo mainly tells Candice to dodge it is mostly because he expected her to dodge his attack. Which if it was the other bambies who were in Candice place they definitely would have dodge. But Candice in context was in Full triggered mode in this moment that is why she did not level headedly analyze the situation. Basically the situation was if Ichigo's opponent is level headed then it will make more sense they will dodge his Getsuga Jujisho. About the sklaverai. The big clue why one should not just spam sklaverai on living beings is the Ayon fight. Basically Quilge took in a permanent hollow infection in exchange for a temporary power boost by absorbing ayon. And visually The Bambies example of specifically absorbing a non harmful reiatsu should transform your Volstandig on what it supposed to look like. Quilge's example is what happens when you absorb "Bad Reiatsu". Quilge was basically forced to absorb Ayon since that was his only choice to survive fighting Ayon. Even his dialogue at that moment implies he did not want to had absorbed Ayon in a more ideal scenario. Since Sklaverai is more an spontaneous absorption on The a limited area around the user. Then it has a glaring issue of not being able to specifically choose what to absorb so their opponents could also just toss in a hollow within that area then that would directly poison them. There is a simple explanation. On the Aizen thing. Aizen is definitely talking using reiatsu but Ywach is not. It is a big sign that Aizen has already put Ywach under Kyouka Suigetsu at this point since Ywach sees him with lesser boundings. And also a big sign that Ywach haven't noticed himself already being under Kyouka Suigetsu's influence. Like it will make the audience ponder why Aizen was not as covered the first time they saw him. The point of it showing things being different is a visual clue something is going on. The one who is gonna have more problems with that is more on the people who actually knows how Aizen should have looked like at that point. Since if they can't get what it actually meant then they will just criticize it as being a mistake.

Ichigo's comment to Candice is not problematic, it's the anime's addition of a particular scene that makes is contradictory when it previously wasn't. In the manga, Ichigo throws an attack at Candice then shouts at her to dodge it because he didn't really mean to kill her with it. This is totally in character and makes the statement that he isn't willing to let his enemies die unless he *HAS* to. The anime now *directly* contradicts this statement because they added the scene immediately before the one with Candice, where Ichigo intentionally allows a lethal attack which was aimed at *him* hit *Giselle* when he didn't really need to and had no reason to think she could survive it. He values Candice's life enough to go out of his way to try and save her from dying to an attack that wasn't supposed to kill her, but he *didn't* value *Giselle's* life enough to try and save *her* from randomly dying to an attack that wasn't actually aimed at *her.* In the manga, he just doesn't want to let his enemies die needlessly unless there's literally no other choice. In the anime, he doesn't want *Candice* to die needlessly unless there's literally no other choice, but he's perfectly willing to let *Giselle* die needlessly when there *was* another choice and she only got hit because he *specifically* allowed it. It's a *contradiction* in his characterization because of the anime's addition.
I think the reason for other Shternritters not using (or they didn't know how to use) Ransotengai, was because of Yhwach himself. He didn't need Shternritters to live for long and prolong their life with a technique like that. Cause he still needed them dead to get more power for himself. And if they actually could get incapacitated and criticallly injured by Shinigami or Hollows, that would just mean that they're not strong enough and were disappointments for Yhwach, which, as we saw with Cang and BG9, resulted in death. So, it makes sense.
my current head canon for the bambies' usage of sklaverei is that the "enhanced" versions are the true form of their vollsterndig however only the more powerful sternritters like askin or as nodt can use it's true form innately while weaker ones like the bambies need to use sklaverei in order to boost themselves up to being able to tap into its full potential.
I think Sklaverai is more helpful to Sternritters where their Volstandig don't really enhance the actual schrift powers itself itself. Bambi for example makes her base schrift abilities more powerful. Without Volstandig her Schrifts allow her to make Reiatsu bombs. In volstandig it changes the system and make whatever her Reiatsu ball touches a bomb itself. Which makes her Schrift totally undefendable. Candice shcrifht allows her to make Reiatsu lighting and Volstandig just makes those lighting more powerful so it definitely needs a the sklaverai to add more utility if usage to those lightning abilities. Same thing with Quilge his Volstandig is more of just loke a powerboost like a Vizard's hollow mask so he needs Sklaverai to enhance it more farther. So in general there are sternritters who has schrifts that complements there Volstandig and there are Sternritters who has schrift that don't change that much when in volstandig. Sternritters like As Nodt and Bambi even the most Royal guards don't need ti use sklaverai since Volstandig in itself levels uo substantially there schrifts.

Liltotto being so deadpan throughout the whole fight is great, she works really well as a straight man to the antics of the other Bambies.

Not only does she sound cute, but the "Idgaf"-energy her voice and actions give is hilarious. As the most levelheaded and smallest, she was always one of my favorite of the femritters and in fact the sternritters in general, so it was awesome to see her done justice and get some new moves too.
Liltotto is by far my favorite member of the Bambies. I think besides Giselle she is definitely the most interesting of them all and she’s always entertaining when on screen/page

This episode actually makes a couple references to very early in the series. Ichigo smacking away the Bambis was reminiscent of him taking down three lieutenants in the Soul Society arc, and telling Candice to dodge reminded me of when he said the same thing to Urahara back when he first used Getuga Tensho.
I saw someone mention when Renji tells Ichigo, “It’s your job.” it’s a callback to Ichigo telling him the same in the Soul Society rescue arc.
It’s def drawing some nostalgic parallels.
I loved how they did a magical girl transformation for the Bambies. It really puts a bit of a humorous spin on a brutal war.
I especially loved Giselle's powers because they are cartoony with Hanna Barbera sound effects but are devious in actuality.

They kept saying Vollstandig was exhausting, so it's possible Sklaverei's purpose is letting the Sternritter recharge/power up. It might also be the true purpose of the halo - a constant effect passively absorbing extra reishi to maintain their abilities
This is exactly what I was thinking. I think it's implied the Bambis all learned Vollständig relatively recently compared to some of the other Sternritters, so they have a greater need for Sklaverai to keep their power topped up

So re: Ichigo warning Candice; it's important to remember, Bleach is anti-revenge. Ichigo isn't fighting to get revenge for people the Sternritters killed and, importantly, Ichigo has reached a level of enlightenment now. He wants to stop the Sternritter and defeat Yhwach, but he's not out to kill them out of revenge, and now he knows the history of the Reio and the Quincies, so he understands their motivations and knows they aren't pure evil (even if they're pretty fucked up in the head, but like, Mayuri is there sooooo).
Eveybody forgets Ichigo only kills when it is necessary. That is why Ichigo did nit Kill off Grimmjow and why Ichigo kills Ginjo.
I think the anime has done wonders for characters like Mask and the Bambies, I see a lot more people talking about them favorably.
Honestly I couldn’t care less when it came to the bambies other than bambietta and Candace before. Now I like all their characters. The anime gave them uniqueness and also made Gisselle likeable cause before she wasn’t in my book

The whole magical girl transformation section was really a great scene that feels just on point for them to do.
Ichigo only used Getsuga Jujisho to block Electrocution, he didn't mean to hit Candice. It's also possible that he genuinely didn't know how powerful it would be until after he used the technique.

This episode was so fucking good! I thought this really explained well why Kenpachi struggled to take the Bambis down. Ichigo’s entrance with the new version of “Number One” was awesome! I loved the interaction between Ichigo and Kenpachi. I loved that Ichigo was completely unfazed by the Bambis. The Bambis basically having Voll Stern Dich be a magical girl transformation makes so much sense and is so funny to me. You can really see Ichigo’s power and power increase because Getsuga Tenshō is no longer this big move, it’s like flicking a wrist. And art looks even stronger. Getsuga Jūjishō look amazing! I don’t know why but I laughed really hard when Gigi got bit in the neck by Liltotto’s attack. I think showing Aizen was to set up that he is one of the five war powers. I was hoping they would add the Uryu and Ichigo fight. I guess that will be later on.
I think it was so cool that they actually gave the Bambies Vollständig names and gave them moves. It was cool to see the Bambies using Sklaverei to power up their Vollständigs. I wonder if we'll see more powered up Vollständigs or if this was just a one and done time thing.
I think Kyoraku would have liked to fight with the Bambies instead of Ichigo.
His Bankai would’ve murdered them cat fight style and tbh I do think they’d give up after the third act

Ichigo's return was a triumph of the greatest order. He's back into the fight and sure gave the Bambis a nice clash. Don't know what Candice was thinking believing she'd be unharmed by an attack by the top war potential. The hero saves others as always.

Ichigo telling Candace to dodge it is one of my favorite scenes because it mirrors a scene from another anime from a character who is so much like Ichigo it is crazy. I'm talking about when Yusuke while possessed shot a full power spirit gun at Sensui and told him to dodge it when he came to his senses.
As much as I wanted to see an actual fight of Ichigo and 8 of the sternritters, I am happy that we still an expansion of him against the bambis and the fight itself improved so many things from the manga. The bambis really show why they are indeed captain level threats and ichigo was to able showcase more of his power by taking them on in their Volstang form with ease and in shikai form, while initially he had to overpower one in bankai form. Like he was control and dominating the entire fight.
I like a lot that Liltotto power is all about the hunger. Even the Spork for Fork and Spife for Knife! That was brilliant.
I feel spoiled cuz I feel no other anime or work of fiction has a page like this. A purely informative encyclopedia or amazing analysis. Each video I have to rewatch a bunch of episodes just from pure enjoyment of the show!
39:00 I think this is how it works: Most of the Vollständig we saw already in the anime seem a lot more "designed" than the once we saw for the Bambis in the manga.
I think that the Vollständig forms we saw in these episode are there "true" complete Vollständig and the once that have only wings are "incomplete" Vollständig. I think that some of the Sternritter like Quile, Äs, Mask and Bambietta are already experience enough to use the complete Vollständig, while it is said that for example Candice just got access to Vollständig.
I think the Bambis HAVE TO use Sklaverei to be able to use their complete Vollständig, fueling and mainting it with all the Reishi they take from the environment.
This is the second time Kenpachi was saved in tybw. The first time was Yamamoto and now Ichigo.
And both times were against the enemies strongest member.
Gets saved by Mayuri later on too
Kenpachi saved everybody minus Rose and Kensei from Gremmy.
Also killed the most sternritters during the first Invasion.
My take on the cloak is that it's supremely tough in the specific situation of helping its wearer pass through divine barriers, but isn't really armor in the traditional sense. Kind of like how a bulletproof vest will protect you from the impact of a firearm... but someone with a knife will be able to stab you through it just fine.
That's just speculation based on what little we see, though. We probably weren't meant to think on it too hard.

I am glad they cut the line about him not wanting to fight girls. He literally has been sparring tatsuki his whole life and sees so many strong women in the gotei, it would be a strange attitude to have. Maybe a "I would rather not..." sorta thing but not hesitation.
The big difference this time is "Ichigo understands it is war and their "Fight" is potentially gonna end in one of them dying.
Like in essence "sparring is a whole lot different in an actual Fight where Ichigo understands his sword can take a life".
And imo interpretation it's contextually an "I rather not fight".
And as see in the fight itself Ichigo did fight them immediately without hesitation. And the "I don't want to fight girls" is more like and idealization from him but it did not delay Ichigo in anyway as a sign of hesitation that cause the bambi's to one up him

Bro you’re crazy.. Ichigo’s new Shihakusho look is 10/10. It looks amazing. Also, even tho the Ouken clothing was destroyed early in the manga, there’s no way the anime would be able to realistically animate Ichigo in all of that clothing for longer than they did.
Anime and weekly manga are pretty similar in that way. Kubo definitely liked drawing the Ouken fits but got rid of them as soon as he needed.
Ichigo telling Candice to dodge isnt that bizzare honestly, throughout the entire fight he isn’t trying to kill them. The first half of the fight he isn’t even using his new blades and he quickly abandons and ignores them when he races off to stop yhwach. I don’t think ichigo is the type to kill some weaker than him hell arguably the only person he’s killed was Ginjo and he wasn’t happy about it at all.
8:35 I think it’s possible that Zaraki had come to the same incorrect conclusion I had when reading weekly- by turning her bones into cookies, Gremmy effectively turned Yachiru into one of his creations, and she ceased to exist when he died.
I don’t think Ichigo telling Candice to dodge the attack is out of place. Sure Ichigo is willing to kill, but that doesn’t mean he necessarily wants to, even more so with enemies that are far below him in power. At this point, and especially in the Anime, ichigo could kill all the bambis fairly easily but doesn’t. It’s still in character to prefer beating the enemy down versus killing them, the only people he’ll go out of his way to kill are especially dangerous enemies like the royal guard and Yhwach himself. He threw out jujisho very casually, most likely intending for it to just cancel out the technique instead of hitting Candice, this is backed up from his only use of getsuga tensho to cancel the galvano blast earlier. He likely overestimated Candice’s attack while underestimating his own, which shows just how much stronger he’s gotten.
When I think about the Ouken cloak and robes, it's not surprising they can be destroyed. Something that may be resistant to the friction of passing through the 72 layers doesn't mean it can't be shredded or cut. it also likely outlived its usefulness and was probably already brittle from entry.

Aoi Yuuki as Liltotto was a great casting choice, all of the Bambis are great but she has definitely stood out the most to me.
So the question is: Will the Stern Ritter ranking have to be changed to accommodate for the new abilities in this episode? Also, I appreciate that there's an actual reason as to why Giselle's vollstandig tires her out, since it involves a lot of shaking and dancing.

Additional to that is
"Ransotengai". Basically they can still puppet them selves via reishii strings to move even if physically they aren't able to move anymore.
There not so much more if "new abilities", the manga just wasn't able to fully utilize all there abilities.
Volstandig will definitely drain stamina.
Why?- because look at Uryu'# Letz Stil in SS arc. That is like the old fashion version of Volsatndig and the drawback of that is basically losing all your quincy powers after using it.
Volstandig removes the "losing all your powers" and reduced it to like "losing stamina" in the same way how Vizards are also exhausted after reaching the time limit of their hollow mask.

When she is defeated, there is even narration text that says "cut, like her puppet strings". Always thought the clothes were strong overall, but mostly specifically for the Shakonmaku as a natural counter to it due to what it's made from (zero squads body etc due to them being fused with Oken.
Makes you also think about what those orbs are made of that Kukaku makes for the "fireworks", being able to break the shakomaku and in their traditional role of facilitating the transport to and from the palace. Maybe these orbs have properties of oken or specific properties that mirror the phenomenon that the oken have on the shakonmaku.

Firstly I just want to say that I absolutely loved the extended fight. I completely agree with a lot of the editing choices being odd, but overall, I had so much fun watching the Bambies using their Vollstandig and Sklaverei.
Something I want to note, is that I watched this on the U.S. version of Hulu and it did reveal that Meninas's schrift is P-the Power in the subtitles, but none of the others which was odd to see. Idk why they just did hers and not the others or if some other places did not have that shown. However, I did want to point that out .
i love the cartoony sound effects they used for when Ichigo fought the Bambis. Also Lil Toto has my fave Vollstandig Holy Form

Considered how well the blu-ray fixed a lot of the art inconsistency in cour 1 and even added in animation too, this episode is probably where they need to patch up the most, and also fix a lot of the lip sync animation in the episode 14.
I hope the new scene with Chad is an indication that his fight with the statues won't be cut off like it was in the manga.

Even though the episode falls short in a number of aspects, I still got what I wanted from this episode at the end of the day: Ichigo's epic return to the sereitei, his fight with the Bambies, and his new Getsuga Jujisho (that was pretty much all I cared about).
I’m curious about Askin’s thought process. He knows there will be a selection, and likely a culling of those not chosen thereafter, but he doesn’t know that he’ll be chosen, he hopes to be chosen, but he’s the only Sternritter doing nothing.
Assuming that the cour ends at Ch 611 (supposedly that's where we'll be heading to based on the still accurate episode leaks), this gives us around 5 chapters to adapt per episode. I wonder how the supposed new fight will fit in the coming weeks, if they haven't covered it already.
One thing about the rerecording or "Number One" that i noticed, its not as high energy as the orginial. I took that to mean that Ichigo was has more control over his power.
Since the whole thing about Ichigo up until this point is that he has a lot of weigh to throw around, but no conteol over it, i loved the new recording. The fight following that reinforcing that idea was the cherry on top
Quilge only being able to use Sklaverei with his Volstandig might be a trade-off for making his version of Sklaverei more powerful, as his was literally tearing people apart.

I think mayuri knowing the nature of the royal palace, gates, and soul king makes sense. Aizen and Mayuri are constantly trying to prove they're better and smarter than urahara and when aizen is defeated he talks to urahara as if he knows the true nature of the soul king as well. So it'd be wierd if aizen and urahara knew something like that while mayuri didn't.
The scene at 22:25 with Ichigo VS the Bambies reminds me of the time in the soul society arc when he was wearing the flying cloak to rescue Rukia, and simply punching the lieutenant away effortlessly. That was such an awesome throw back and I got the chills when I saw it in the anime!

The Bambies ain’t shit, but I honestly love them. They really made this episode fun. Their Vollständig transformations gave me Sailor Moon vibes. They said “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” I’m also really glad they kept the scene of the rest of the Bambies landing on Candice in various ways. It was hilarious in the manga and it was hilarious in the anime. Ichigo came back and showed those girls why we call him Ichigoat! I also loved how he told Candice to dodge his attack. He’s HIM but he’s also a gentleman. 🥹
See you understand my pov! A lot of people are over criticizing the bambis! This was one of my favorite episodes. The animation still is better than damn near every anime out now regardless if you noticed the small drop of quality compared to previous episodes the animation quality is still top tier. The little effects they gave the bambis are amazing ! It was a breath of fresh air watching this fight
I hope they add some other fight for Ichigo. It's crazy to think next time he fights someone he gets beaten off panel by Askin and then straight to fight Ywach

I’m still hoping we find out how Rose and Kensei became Zombies but Isane doesn’t.
My main theory is that Isane gets them in stable condition and then hears other injured in need of help. I can’t think of any other reason why she’d leave them alone.
The Shinigami's are royally fucked if the current head of the Medical squad are taken out by the enemy so Isane has a duty to survive herself tan sacrifice herself just to save a few.
Basically that is why Yamamoto did not allow Unohana to participate in the 1st Invasion.

Whatever the case, some clarification on how rose and Kensei got separated from her would be nice. It’s a bit of a disconnect in the manga.

@@austinwright4445 I’m assuming they stopped being dead after Gremmy wasn’t focusing on them. Yachiru’s bones went back to normal after Gremmy turned his focus to Kenpachi, so I’m assuming Rose and Kensei went back to being merely injured.
That’s another wrinkle in Gremmy’s power. It seems like his power only effects things or people he’s directly focusing on. It stands to reason that Rose and Kensei would be no different.
Plus, why would Isane jump and risk injury to catch two corpses? She’s the only major healer left so that would be extremely stupid.
@@austinwright4445 I was just looking around on the internet and its actually amazing how unclear this is. Some argue that rose and Kensei stayed dead after Gremmy sleep-killed them, which would give Isane no choice but to leave them behind after saving their bodies.
While others (myself included), believe that Gremmy’s powers stopped effecting them after his focus shifted, much like what happened with Yachiru’s cookie bones reverting back to normal.
1 neat detail I noticed about Ichigo's return
When he lands and crashes through a building, the smoke cloud takes the form of a clawed hand curling for a few seconds (Reminding me personally of his vasto lorde claws).
Didn’t the Bambis already have the holy form activated? In a previous episode Candice and Gigi put their wings away. I figured that meant they had the trigger they needed from Yhwach but they could pull it back out when they needed it. Hence why they used Sklava Rai?

I think the reason why Ichigo warns his enemy of his attack is because he doesn't want to hurt/kill women. He didn't seem to fight them seriously at all.
That double getsuga sound effect was insane. It's like an atom bomb explosion.

Zaraki's fight against Bambies definitely makes more sense and emanates much more tension in the manga.
I personally don't think Sklaverei was used to enhance the Holy Form, but was used to gather enough reishi to fully activate it. From what we know, Vollständig is incredibly taxing on a Quincy, and based on Candace's summoning of her wings without a halo, it seems that a Stërnritter can sort of partially activate Vollständig on their own in a pinch, but if they need to complete it for the full power of the Holy Form, then they need more reishi. Alternatively, it seems as if Ywach can skip this process and forcibly activate their complete Holy Forms, which makes sense given said forms are directly from him.
Sklaverai was used obviously to boost the power if their Vollstandig.
Obvious clues is They still showed what base Volstandig Candice looks like and what it looks like after the Sklaverai.
It is basically the same reason why Quilge got deformed after using sklaverai on Ayon. Like if he used Skalverai on just the environment and not Ayon himself then Quilge would have transformed more into what the Bambies did.
So the big draw back of sklaverai is basically they need to be cautious on what reishii they are gonna absorb. That is why the quincies just don't spam it especially if it is unnecessary.
@@Snzn_7 I mean, maybe, but the fact that Candice used Sklaverei after she manifested the wings to manifest the halo and other accoutrements suggests that they were boosting to a more complete Holy Form with more potent versions of their techniques. It feels a bit like a Shikai to Bankai distinction, yet not really.
I'm loving every bit. I read the Manga a while ago and this last ark is by far the best that kubo has done for bleach.
After watching your review, I noticed more how ichigo saving kenpachi here mirrors ichigo saving rukia. Ichigo saving them last minute from death with number one blasting away. Ichigo knocking the crap out of 3 enemies without use of Zangetsu. And the Getsuga blast mirroring the explosive release of his bankai. He started off fighting the soul society now he's saving it. It came full circle

A thing tommo ignored or don't noted and makes the manga panel made sense is a small dialogue from the operators, they say:

About the oken clothes.
The "oken" to begin with are in translation "King's key"
It is basically are just meant to unlock the barriers that is hiding the Soul King's palace.
It basically is the only thing that can break those barriers. But it don't meant it is also resistant to other attacks.
It's like yes, the Squad zero squad are okens and yes they still can be damaged by strong attack

Issues I have with the episode's new content:
1. The bambis can apparently just casually do Sklaverai in base form, and this raises issues that weren't as glaring (but still conspicuous) in the manga.
-Why does Quilge require his Vollständig form *and* his halo to do what the Bambi's can apparently do in their base forms?
-Can other Quincies do it without Vollständig and their halos? When Quilge was the *only* Quincy who used the ability, we could simply assume that the others were under the same or similar restrictions and that's why they didn't ever end up using it, but now the bambis contradict that implication. Logic now dictates that they should *all* be able to use it, but in that case it's conspicuous that they don't simply use it to consume the soul reapers like Quilge consumed Ayon. It's an inconsistency in the narrative that never gets explained or resolved.
It's an issue much in the same vein as the Vizards never using their hollow masks; why don't the Quincies use their certain-kill-absorb-everything super move that we know they have?
2. Ichigo shouting at Candice to dodge was always a bit funny but fully within his character originally, but the anime makes it more jarring because for some reason they added that scene showing him intentionally letting Lilltotto's attack decapitate Giselle seconds earlier. He tries to save Candice while fighting her but he was totally fine letting Giselle get her head lopped off? He didn't *know* she'd survive that, so his moral concerns are now inconsistent within the fight.
3. I hate how awkwardly they crammed in the cut to Mayuri just *randomly* explaining exactly what Yhwach is doing and how he's doing it, somehow with full knowledge and understanding of what's happening *AS* it's happening and all of the elements going into it. It made *sense* for Yhwach to know because he literally planned it, but Mayuri is just somewhere else chilling in his lab, randomly knowing everything and stating it out loud for the audience from afar. It was *in character* for Yhwach to explain the situation to Ichigo, shifting it to Mayuri just randomly knowing it and stating it out loud is such a blatant "we need to explain this for the audience but don't know how, so we just have a character show up for a second specifically only to say it to the audience."
4. Showing Aizen properly sealed up in Muken now makes it contradictory and confusing that Aizen wasn't fully sealed during Yhwach's visit. Only people who look it up will know that the anime's showing of their meeting was metaphorical and they were speaking through reiatsu, not in-person as presented, but anime-only viewers will just *see* one scene showing him not sealed and then a next scene where he's fully sealed with no indication of why or how the two scenes were different. This is unfortunately a trend with the anime it seems, as it's not the first thing the anime has adapted in such a way that people who don't read up on supplementary materials will be confused.
I have other issues but they were native to the manga and the episode's only culpability in them is that it didn't fix them when I expected it would.
To be honest, so far the anime seems to be taking the exact wrong approach to the issues that the manga had. The manga introduced too many plot threads and characters and twist that it then had to drop or off-screen entirely due to time constraints; the obvious solution the anime should've gone for IMO would've been to just not drop them and instead flesh them out like they should have been fleshed out originally.
Instead, the anime does the opposite and *omits* those elements entirely, keeps the main plot the exact same flaws-and-all instead of fixing it's issues, and the "expanded content" they're adding is more or less just eye-candy and fan service that's not *actually* important besides being neat to know. They did Oomaeda so dirty!
Ichigo mainly tells Candice to dodge it is mostly because he expected her to dodge his attack.
Which if it was the other bambies who were in Candice place they definitely would have dodge.
But Candice in context was in Full triggered mode in this moment that is why she did not level headedly analyze the situation.
Basically the situation was if Ichigo's opponent is level headed then it will make more sense they will dodge his Getsuga Jujisho.
About the sklaverai. The big clue why one should not just spam sklaverai on living beings is the Ayon fight. Basically Quilge took in a permanent hollow infection in exchange for a temporary power boost by absorbing ayon.
And visually The Bambies example of specifically absorbing a non harmful reiatsu should transform your Volstandig on what it supposed to look like. Quilge's example is what happens when you absorb "Bad Reiatsu". Quilge was basically forced to absorb Ayon since that was his only choice to survive fighting Ayon. Even his dialogue at that moment implies he did not want to had absorbed Ayon in a more ideal scenario.
Since Sklaverai is more an spontaneous absorption on The a limited area around the user. Then it has a glaring issue of not being able to specifically choose what to absorb so their opponents could also just toss in a hollow within that area then that would directly poison them.
There is a simple explanation.
On the Aizen thing. Aizen is definitely talking using reiatsu but Ywach is not.
It is a big sign that Aizen has already put Ywach under Kyouka Suigetsu at this point since Ywach sees him with lesser boundings.
And also a big sign that Ywach haven't noticed himself already being under Kyouka Suigetsu's influence.
Like it will make the audience ponder why Aizen was not as covered the first time they saw him.
The point of it showing things being different is a visual clue something is going on.
The one who is gonna have more problems with that is more on the people who actually knows how Aizen should have looked like at that point. Since if they can't get what it actually meant then they will just criticize it as being a mistake.
@@Snzn_7 You're completely misunderstanding the issue of Ichigo's comment to Candice. Ichigo's comment to Candice is not problematic, it's the anime's addition of a particular scene that makes is contradictory when it previously wasn't.
In the manga, Ichigo throws an attack at Candice then shouts at her to dodge it because he didn't really mean to kill her with it.
This is totally in character and makes the statement that he isn't willing to let his enemies die unless he *HAS* to.
The anime now *directly* contradicts this statement because they added the scene immediately before the one with Candice, where Ichigo intentionally allows a lethal attack which was aimed at *him* hit *Giselle* when he didn't really need to and had no reason to think she could survive it. He values Candice's life enough to go out of his way to try and save her from dying to an attack that wasn't supposed to kill her, but he *didn't* value *Giselle's* life enough to try and save *her* from randomly dying to an attack that wasn't actually aimed at *her.*
In the manga, he just doesn't want to let his enemies die needlessly unless there's literally no other choice.
In the anime, he doesn't want *Candice* to die needlessly unless there's literally no other choice, but he's perfectly willing to let *Giselle* die needlessly when there *was* another choice and she only got hit because he *specifically* allowed it. It's a *contradiction* in his characterization because of the anime's addition.

I think the reason for other Shternritters not using (or they didn't know how to use) Ransotengai, was because of Yhwach himself.
He didn't need Shternritters to live for long and prolong their life with a technique like that. Cause he still needed them dead to get more power for himself. And if they actually could get incapacitated and criticallly injured by Shinigami or Hollows, that would just mean that they're not strong enough and were disappointments for Yhwach, which, as we saw with Cang and BG9, resulted in death.
So, it makes sense.

my current head canon for the bambies' usage of sklaverei is that the "enhanced" versions are the true form of their vollsterndig however only the more powerful sternritters like askin or as nodt can use it's true form innately while weaker ones like the bambies need to use sklaverei in order to boost themselves up to being able to tap into its full potential.
I think Sklaverai is more helpful to Sternritters where their Volstandig don't really enhance the actual schrift powers itself itself.
Bambi for example makes her base schrift abilities more powerful. Without Volstandig her Schrifts allow her to make Reiatsu bombs. In volstandig it changes the system and make whatever her Reiatsu ball touches a bomb itself.
Which makes her Schrift totally undefendable.
Candice shcrifht allows her to make Reiatsu lighting and Volstandig just makes those lighting more powerful so it definitely needs a the sklaverai to add more utility if usage to those lightning abilities.
Same thing with Quilge his Volstandig is more of just loke a powerboost like a Vizard's hollow mask so he needs Sklaverai to enhance it more farther.
So in general there are sternritters who has schrifts that complements there Volstandig and there are Sternritters who has schrift that don't change that much when in volstandig.
Sternritters like As Nodt and Bambi even the most Royal guards don't need ti use sklaverai since Volstandig in itself levels uo substantially there schrifts.
