This video clip is special for a number of reasons: First-I have started working on it on the night of December 3d 2016. That's exactly right, I've been editing it for more than a year. Jake Gyllenhaal and I almost share a birthday, I was born December 17th 1991 and he was born on December 19th 1980. My original intention was to upload this clip on his birthday but, well, life. But now that it's done I can tell you that it was worth it. This film had been an anchor for everyone feeling a little bit different, me included, for the past 17 years, and in a world that is growing colder and more lonely and distant every single day, the human experience and the genuine feeling of despair as well as the huge love and warmth presented in this little masterpiece is more important than ever and should be talked about openly once again. Jake is an extraordinary man and I turn to his films and his words allot.
