I'm using NameCheap and i already have the MX records directing to Gmail since i use the domain to send emails to and from gmail. If i add the MX Records from GHL. will it affect my gmail sending abilities?

I think you should add mx record to your gmail.

When you created your dedicated domain using your domain. For example, yourdomain.com... You need to create budiness email that coresponds to your domain like [e-mail]... and this is going to be your sender email address and for the reply emails, you can use it or you can add another email for reply emails.

Yes, once you create dedicated domain in your GHL subaccount, when you send out your emails, mailed by will be your domain.

What if I'm putting a TXT and the hostname is my domain? no email.mydomainname? just mydomainname? what do I put

You can't use your main host domain name for email service. It must be subdomain name. You can name it anything. Such as hello, contact, email, mail, etc.... so it should something like hello.yourdomain.com .... hope this clears out.

I just did the same exact steps on how to do it on name cheap and I keep getting an error. Can you please maybe point out what it could be? Also, you never included the process to adding the MX Values. Do we need to include the MX values provided by GoHighLevel? On the dropdown there is no MX record value to be able to select.

In NAmecheap, in order to add MX records, you will see inf you scroll little down in your Advanced DNS setting page, mail setting. This is where you add MX records. That's it. Hope this helps. I will update the video soon! Thanks!
