  • In this GoHighLevel tutorial, I'll show you how to boost the efficiency of email delivery by setting up a basic DMARC TXT record. You should notice an instant improvement in your email deliverability score, so get this going ASAP to ensure your emails land in the inbox.
You have to set up a DMARC text record for every domain that's sending emails. Go into your DNS manager and add a text record.
Here is what you need to put into your TXT records:
    Name: _dmarc
    Data: v=DMARC1; p=reject
    TTL: 1 hour
That's it! It takes only a few seconds and should make a MASSIVE impact on your email deliverability!

Hi everybody! Since the owner of this video won't answer the question about the inconsistency of the p value, here is the answer:
p=none - This policy doesn’t do much. It provides no direction concerning how to handle authentication failures, which leaves filtering decisions up to mailbox providers.
p=quarantine - With this DMARC policy in place, you are suggesting that mailbox providers deliver authentication failures to the spam folder.
p=reject - When this policy is in place, you are telling mailbox providers they should block or reject messages that fail authentication. It’s the strongest DMARC policy.
I personally used p=quarantine. Hope this helps!

You used different data value in your video and gave another in the description! Which we should use?

Hi, thanks for the video. In your video, you said v=DMARC1;p=none; but in your description, it's different. Which one is correct ?

Is GHL the email service provider or just the autoresponder service?

Does this affect or conflict with the LeadConnector Dedicated Domain set up in any way? Seems redundant. But also very different.

Hi can you elaborate how this would apply to GHL?

I am super confused about the email deliverability on my clients side from GHL. How is the deliverability going to be if I just plug them in GHL Database Reactivation workflow and just start sending emails from the sub-account? Do every one of my clients need to verify their domain or sub-domain in GHL before that ?

It's not mandatory, but for best chances of deliverability, yes.
