You could probably seal those side areas with some Velcro strips. Glad to see Annie!

Thank you for showing the gap. That will let tons of bugs in and I have looked at these before but never realized that gap. So this was very useful as I would never buy this without a solution to that huge gap.
How is it agains t leaks as keeping the inside dry is just as important as keeping out mosquitos.
I sleep under my topper about 20 nights a year and there is no feeling of being entombed at all. I have a sleeping platform and a Milliard trifold mattress. It’s a six foot bed and I close the tailgate and the rear window. It is not claustrophobic at all even during northern and mountain winters.
Also, not that this has to be taken down for any driving.

I keep it as a back up, I have not had to use it yet. I purchased a GEO Pro 15 TB ... I stay in the RV ...but it's nice to have a backup.

I bought this same tent from amazon. It fits my F250 with a Leer cap nicely. For those pesky gaps at the tailgate, I rolled up some shop rags, and filled the gap with a couple spring clamps. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Bugs coming through the sides and bottom kind of defeat the purpose of having netting? I could see how you could limit bugs coming in from the bottom, but when the wind blows on those sides there's got to be all kind of bugs that can go through.

Actually, No your incorrect...I now have had a chance to test it with winds ... if the zippers are closed No problem at all

Throw a couple of magnets on the side to secure the tent to the truck body……
