my reg. sized pot of La Mer lasts a year and you will have to kill me to get it away from me. Kiehls Midnight recovery oil. Estee Lauder night repair and a pile of Deciem. So a grand mix. Emjoy your delicious produits!
Gwenny, I have the same hair band, but mine is cat ears!!!!! TWINNING!!! I have tried the makeup remover from the Prestige line and I love it. I also use the Treatment Lotion from La Mer, the Dior Capture moisturizer, La Mer Soft Cream, Chanel cleanser and oil, and whatever else I can add! I got a sample of the micro caviar and I loved it, too!!! I did buy, and just ran out of, the Capture Totale serum, which I love. I couldn’t figure whether the micro caviar was a serum or a mask, because I found the way the listing is on the US website to be very confusing, with vague directions about when and how often to use it. Thank you for doing this review. Your skin looks fabulous and there was definitely a noticeable difference in your skin after you applied it.
@@dawnlovescouture2644 TWINNING(ish)! 🐰🐱 So you *know* how amazing the micro-caviar is! 🤩 Honestly, I've never experienced anything like it! I'm taking notes of your recommendations... You're influencing me! 😘💕
Looks amazing Gwenny. Enjoy. X. I used to buy La Prairie and Chanel but once I turned 50 I thought no more. Now I don’t use anything tbh just drink loads of water xx
You have lovely smooth skin, Gwenny. Mine has always been troublesome and is sensitive, so I avoid perfumed skincare. Cleanser: At the moment I'm cleansing with my absolute favourite Clarins Gentle Wash with Cottonseed. A small dab lathers up a treat. I do like a good lather!. I also have Bobbi Brown soothing cleansing oil which also creates its own sort of lather which I didn't expect. I tend to use it if I've worn foundation make up that day. Serum: I favour Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum. It's a milky lotion and it feels wonderful - so refreshing. As a backup I'm currently using Caudalie Vinopure Blemish Control Infusion Serum. It's quite good, goes on well, a little goes a long well, but I prefer the Bobbi Brown. I also have used the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum but don't have any at the moment. Moisturiser: This is where I experiment and have no outstanding favourite. For intense overnight moisture I'm currently trying Olay Anti-Wrinkle Pro Vital Cream. It's cheap. I'll persevere with it till the tub is finished. For daytime I'm currently using Philosophy Purity Made Simple moisture lotion. It's OK. I'm still to find a holy grail moisturiser. Eyes: Another vote here for Estee Lauder Advanced night Repair Eye cream. It was part of a gift pack I bought mainly for the case it was in. I use some cheaper options sometimes to experiment. I'm using a cheap one now but forget what it's called, just a cheap little tube of gel. Body: by far my favourite is Jo Malone body cream, either Lime Basil & Mandarin (prefer it to the cologne) or Red Roses. I'm waiting for someone to gift me one in a different scent. I've also used and enjoyed Annick Goutal Rose Splendide body cream (AG is one of my favourite perfume houses). I'm currently really enjoying a cheapie from TK Maxx called Black Iris. Enjoy your Dior, love - get your money's worth.
Thank you babe, that's very kind of you to say, I feel very lucky with my skin type. 🤗 Ooo I was using that Clarins Cottonseed until a couple of years ago, it's lovely and very gentle. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair is a miracle product, I'm convinced. ✨ Put Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir body lotion on your birthday list, the scent (of the cologne, I haven't tried the cream) is GLORIOUS! 😘💕
That looks amazing...please do let us have an update when you've been using it a while :) PLEASE! I'm not against spending on skincare...so long as it does what it claims x
I LOVE DIOR…It was the first beauty counter I ever worked at…they didn’t have prestige. I love capture totale line. Now I have samples from prestige…I haven’t tried the caviar…but assume it will make its way into my life! Haha!! Thanks for sharing your experience! ❤
My best skincare is just staying out of the sun. Otherwise, I use a cleansing foam to wash my face and that's it...other than the Dior eye sorbet, of course. I swear that thing is bottomless. I've used it almost every morning since Christmas and it still feels like there's a ton left. Glad you found something you enjoy so much. You made it look gloriously fun to have a skincare routine!
I love your beauty content! I am always looking for new skincare. The spoon is so cute. I think you should give caviar another go. I will take you a fab place for caviar if you come to Chicago 😘
They changed the silver gifts. I like yours much better. I got the red lipstick and nail color wit the travel tag/Mirror. I’m glad your trying this one. I wanted it badly. Love the loyalty program tho it’s pretty fun. Much to my husbands dismay. Take care
Oooo I thought the travel tag was the gold gift, I'm excited to see what's in that gift! 🤩 I enjoy playing the games, but I haven't won anything yet! 😆 If you were already looking at it, I say try it if you can, I won't tell your husband! 😉💕
I am a self proclaimed skin care addict. I get most of my products from my Spa but I do love the Estee Lauder night serum but you have some lovely things to try!
Oh gosh, that looks like a good product... as you know, I used to use Clarins but these budget-conscious days I use Boots No.7. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the efficacy of their Protect and Perfect range and generally stick with that. But I still love Clarins!
I have an idea for a video.. suggestion anyway....What if money was no issue for one week and you have one day to go to your dream shopping trip anywhere. Where would you go (country and luxury stores)? What would you wear? What purse and accessories are you carrying and what does your makeup bag look like? 😁 I thought it would be a fun idea because you're videos are so fun to watch.
I’ve tried many moisturizers, cheap to expensive, but my favorite is Principal Secret by Victoria Principal. It absorbs well into my skin without being greasy. I’ve been using it for years. That Dior caviar cream looks fabulous, though the price tag is steep…too steep not knowing how it would react with my skin. By the way, I love good caviar…yum.
Well, now I'm going to have to look up Victoria Principal... like I need another brand to fall for! 😆 Same as you, I don't like that greasy feeling, it can be hard to find the right moisturiser that DOES something without making you feel like you've been swimming in oil! 😘💕
I do absolutely love it, it's RIDICULOUS! ✨🤩✨ I'm not sure how often I'll use it, probably not every single day, I'm starting out using it at the weekend for a boost, but I've also slapped a little on today (Friday) as an end-of-the-busy-work-week-work-from-home treat! 😘💕
I personally have quite enjoyed Chanel skincare. And am currently using Chantecaille, so not cheap either! 😅 So yes, I have also spent lots of $ on skincare. But healthy skin is key! (Me trying to justify this hahaha). I agree that you don’t need as much product with expensive and high quality products. I personally don’t like Dior skincare because I truly hate the smell of their skincare! 😆 But their products perform well. 🤷🏻♀️ You are making me feel curious about this stuff… I might ask for a sample… And Sauvage!!! The same perfume Phil wears!!! Yummmm it smells divine! (well, one of the fragrances he wears 😉)
I'm with you on the Chanel scent, I don't find it pleasant at all! 🤢 Oh yes, Chantecaille, I was tempted (because of you, obvs) but I haven't gone down that rabbit hole... Yet! 🐰🕳️🤣 Sauvage is the greatest & Phil obviously has great taste, we already know this! 😉💕
@@StyledByGwenny 💕💕💕 See, I loooove the Chanel scent! I actually wish that they bottled it! Dior I don’t find pleasant at all. Chantecaille is 🙌 the perfect balance for me. It is so funny how we all react differently to scents!
If it smells like a bride walking down the aisle 👰♀ ✨️ then it is J'adore! Lovely set of goodies, babe! I've never really splurged on skincare except for when the derma prescribed me a slew of Skinceutical serums. I just stick to my cheap and cheerful Egyptian Magic Cream. Works great, but maybe I'll have to get back to you in 10 years for the true review.😂
I use the Dior Capture Totale range but have the Prestige scrub and love love love the smell. If you know, does the serum smell the same? I love the smell of roses 🌹
I haven't tried the scrub, this is the only product I've tried from the Prestige range so can't really compare unfortunately. It doesn't smell strongly of roses, it smells just kind of light and fresh! It feels absolutely DIVINE though! 🥰
Will you use the Dior gel everyday? It should last awhile if you take a little less with you teeny spoon. I was thinking it would of been nice if the spoon had a little slot fitted along the outside of the jar..
They really should, I've dropped that spoon a few times already! 😲 I see it as more of a weekend treat, but I'm going to play around and see what works best 😘💕
I am not really a luxury skin person, I like Paula's choice, jeffree star, and avon. I have used higher end but they add to much fragrance and my skin is sensitive 🥺
@@ChatsWithChris I reckon, using the spoon as a guide (you really don't need much!) and using it every weekend (I've been quite sporadic and trying to get into a routine with it!) this jar would last 9 months? You REALLY don't need a lot! 🤗
I forgot to add my next purchase will be Sunday Riley's Luna Sleeping Night Oil and the Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. Both recommended by KarenBritChick. I'll get both from John Lewis.
@@StyledByGwenny I had to get the Good Genes Lactic Acid from Amazon in the end. It arrived two days ago so I've only just started the experiment. Been using the Luna for approx 7 nights. Smells a bit odd.
