The city's public transport should build a monorail line instead of a new tram line because it's more efficient than trams & is safer because there won't be any side collisions only front or rear end collisions
Monorails are definitely not the way. Firstly, they're prohibitively expensive. Secondly, if a unit was to fail mid-route, the recovery process would be a nightmare and delays would be horrendous. Thirdly, the metrolink is already safe enough so why change it? Do you often hear any news about serious incidents involving the metrolink? I don't. Do you not wonder why the people in Sydney spent a lot of money built a monorail system, only to spend more money to take it all down? 🤔
These trams were T68a’s built in 1999 for the Eccles extension they were all scrapped sadly.
O k smart arse we will build one just for you

We enjoy trams as they are better and monorails take up too much space with pillars and will always be shady.
