I want to play Twilight Princess so bad. I hope for Zelda's 35th Anniversary, they release it along with other games in a collection like they did with Mario 3d All Stars.
Maybe a bit late but you can always play with an emulator, i'm playing Twilight Princess at the moment on my pc with Dolphin Emulator (you do need a controller or maybe you can link a wii remote to your pc, I don't know)
Thanks to this I created my own list of LoZ games that I want to play and "have" to play prior BOTW, I want to have the full Zelda experience because I didn't have the possibility before and I know this saga is amazing.
If you really want the full zelda experience like you said, i recommend buying the books when you can! Their amazing reads and really pull you into the world of hyrule!

Ocarina of Time and the minish cap are my favorite games. I adore the minish cap. Really magical. Great puzzles and mechanics. Ocarina of Time is very difficult and has some great puzzles and a great story.
The original NES games was my first Zelda game. I've only played that, Link to the Past (SNES) and Minish Cap which I really enjoyed. I had Skyward Sword when I had a Wii but I never finished it. Never heard of the BS titles, though.
More sad individuals here like @TRRAP One, slandering the CDi Zelda games, despite having never played any of them. Typical sheep trying to just fit in. As a CDi owner and Zelda fan I can tell you that all 3 CDi games are quite decent, if you judge them for what they are - decent and interesting adventure games
I’m trying to 100% all Zelda games. I’ve played the first Zelda game for like a week lol, then I played ocarina of time and almost finished it but then school started so I didn’t have time to finish it, I also played a bit of windwaker then 2 years ago I started getting into it but then I stopped at the korok tree thing, then I played twilight princess, breath of the wild (the only game I actually finished) and now I’m waiting for age of calamity while playing the first Zelda game again.
Oh have fun! I'm currently playing OoT as well, afterwards I'll play MM and I'll see where I'll go from there :) The only game I played already was Minish Cap but I may replay it since it's been ages lol

Switch version runs at 900p docked, 720p in handheld mode. The Wii U version just runs at 720p. Both versions run at 30 fps, but the Switch version has less frame rate drops. The Switch version also apparently has higher audio quality.

I’ve loved Zelda games afterward but my family never could afford any game consoles or the da and 3ds so I grew up watching them on TH-cam or sometimes using my cousins do to play. I’m older now and I have my own job to pay for stuff, so I felt pure joy the 1st time I picked up the switch in 2017 with a copy of both. I’ve had thousands of hours in it by now and still play it daily.
Triforce Heroes is the one where you need to play as Link and sometimes two wooden statues of him too, right? Do you need like three people to play that game or do you just need practice?
Switch has a library of classic NES and SNES games you can play if you have the online service, and Wii U and 3DS have a virtual console that lets you download classic NES, SNES, GB, N64, etc. games
I played wind waker and was halfway through but someone broke in our house and took my Wii......so I used my allowance to buy a switch to play breath of the wild what I'm currently on I really wanna play wind waker again or if breath of the wild 2 comes out I would be more than happy to get it
