I was a kid and went with my dad. Even though we lost I enjoyed the night out and both sets of fans shared the bus back into Leeds city centre. There was no trouble, just a good atmosphere. Ive got total respect to the Celtic supporters after that night. It was great to see them lay flowers and scarfs around Billy's statue too. Hope we meet again in Europe one day! MOT!

@@georgegreig8054 No. Birmingham City are a completely different team to Aston Villa despite coming from the same city. Same applies to Celtic and Rangers. The match was played on the 25th Nov 1975 and ended in a 1-0 win for Blues. The trouble was the night before and before the match with city centre shop windows crashed in with bricks!
i was there it was a great night couldn't care less about the result, it was nice to meet the celtic players and have a a fun night out
We Celtic fans are proud of the fact we are out for a good time to watch the fitba and make friends regardless of the score. We are the best fans in the world bar none. There are many games from that era that I still watch now and again and still get goosebumps, especially that win at Anfield, the fan u can hear shouting when Hartson scores adds to it. 🍀🍀HH🍀🍀

C K Celtic are a faboulous club. I’ve always had a soft spot for them ( I have a Celtic shirt) I was at this game and it was a fine night for a fantastic servant to us in Gary Kelly. I did the stadium tour of Parkhead last week and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. (From a life long Leeds fan)

People don't want it because your club is a sectarian shithouse who will bring IRA chants to grounds. The Premier league isnt a charity designed to help smaller clubs like yours.

Thank you. Celtic are my team and will always be one of the World's biggest. I'm a laid back guy, but when fans from Michael Mouse English teams like Rochdale tell me Celtic are a pub side, I have to respond. Numerous semi-finals and 3 European finals. Pub side? Fuck right off, Trevor!!
That's the first time I've seen this game. Did Hartson mean that goal and if he did my God what a goal!!!! Think that's the best Celtic team I've seen. Great team. Bit o a soft spot for Leeds as well. Hope they make it top flight this year.
In my humble opinion, the best Celtic team were the 1970 side. Lost in the European final to Feyenoord. Still breaks my heart. They underestimated Feyenoord that night in the San Siro. C'est la vie. But, anyone who says we're a pub side patently has never played the 'beautiful' game ⚽️

@@utopiandreamer5288 If that 1970 had actually won the final, they'd have been candidates for "Best Ever Celtic Team" but they blew it, unfortunately. I can't see a case against the 1967 team.
Not only did they win the League, the Cup, the League Cup and the European Cup, they also beat the reigning champions of Europe and the World Club Cup champions (Real Madrid and Penarol) , they also beat the South American champions (Racing Club) in the only properly conducted football match the clubs contested.
I have no doubt that the 1967 Celtic team was the very best team in the world at that time... ( although Dundee United supporters are free to point out that their team did beat Celtic twice in 67! )

Being from Dublin, I’ve grown up being firstly a Celtic fan ... but also secondly a Leeds fan in the English league!! And thirdly, a goalkeeper -so I totally get Paul Robinson’s reaction; mere testimonial or not, conceding 4 hurts like hell !! Anyway, great to see Leeds back in the serious division... and looking forward to Celtic getting its act together and resuming our rightful position ⚽️🍀🍀🍀And any video that shows King Henrik Larsson is worth viewing 👏👏👏
